Moodies 5 Pack of Orange Heat-Safe Silicone Light Bulb Covers for Decorating

These are perfect for my project. I have a string of LED edison style light bulbs over my patio and they are too bright so I bought these in orange to soften the light some. They work great. I actually cut small holes in the solid end which I fitted over the the light socket, (material is rubbery and stretchy) then screwed the bulb back in pulling the Moodie over the bulb with the original opening facing the ground. This way any rain water will drip out. Love the look now. And they come in many colors so I can change the color theme if I want to!! Only downside I have is that the silicone wrinkles a little in places, but you don't notice that at night!! Definitely will buy more in different color.

As another reviewer wrote, these are like light bulb condoms (they even arrived packed like condoms in individual pouches), but they work well. Much better than an orange bulb which lasted less than two days and I will get to reuse them for Halloween in future years. I wish they were sold individually, or that the 5 piece pack would cost less. If so, I would buy different colors just to change the mood in my porch.

I know, I know, it sounds like a bizarre invention that probably won't work. SURPRISE! It's clever and it does work. I didn't have any problem slipping them on (I am 71) and when I flipped the switch -- ahhhh, a warm orange, mood-glow. For the record, I am a legit purchaser and NOT associated with the manufacturer or a relative of the inventor.

Does its job very well, but can be a little awkward to put on since they are so rubbery and tend to catch on the glass of the bulb. Also, the fact that the package comes with an uneven number was a little disappointing, since I was using for lights on the front of my house for Halloween, and all of those lights come in pairs, meaning I was one moodie short, and had to just remove one bulb in order to not have to buy another entire package.

Perfect addition for my Halloween party. They looked great and it saved me from buying more bulbs that I would have to store until the next year. They also appear to be of good quality too.

I was happy with these for Halloween. No storage of bulbs, and it appears they will work again for next year. Already ordered the green and red ones for Christmas!

great for my photography studio. Use enough of these and you get some great colors in your photos and or videos.

Pros: -highly protective against STI's, pregnancy, and unwanted wavelengths of visible light spectrum -durable, flexible silicone material -portable -affordable -comes in a variety of colors Cons: -very little sensitivity to touch through thick silicone material -shape not likely to fit snug unless you are a CFL or LED light bulb -package fits in a pocket, but not in my wallet
