My husband and I were so excited when our pediatrician told us we could start solids. We went to the store and bought some baby food; right before we started I found a lawsuit online regarding heavy metals in various baby foods. There was no way we were going to feed our son that but the thought of making our own baby food seemed daunting. I went online to purchase the baby bullet thinking that was my only option but came across this instead. I cannot express how amazing this product has been. It steams and blends the food, works well, really easy to clean and we sit down at dinner knowing I'm feeding healthy quality food to my son. Its very easy to use, i just throw in whatever veggie we are eating for dinner and its ready in 15 mins or less. I also have an 11 year old with extracurriculars, pets, a chore list a mile long and endless dishes in the sink, so clean up is really important. This unit SELF CLEANS (no scrubbing and not a lot of parts/pieces. So easy!) and has a sanitize function as well that you can use to sanitze the unit but you can also throw binkys or teethers in there!! I would 100% recommend this to any family with babies. You won't regret this purchase.

Every parent needs this. I always thought it wouldn't be useful to have one of these until i tried it. Its a game changer.It literally makes everything easier and maintaining it is not hard or time consuming. The large opening for the water tank was my initial point of interest. I like keeping things extremely clean for our 5 month old daughter and evlas has a wide opening to where it is very easy to keep clean and avoid mold build up. Other food makers do not have this. So dont go cheap out on some other brand that causes mold build up.Once you steam your food, you essentially use the same cup to blend it with the built in rotary blades. The blending is GREAT. You can run it through an automatic cycle, and if you need more you can run the cycle again or manually blend. I read some other reviews about people not being able to blend the food fully. Thats because they arent using it correctly. It helps if you chop the food up into little cubes (as evlas clearly explains in the directions), especially if its a harder food like carrots. Ive done carrots in that machine many times and it steams and blends perfectly.The cleaning process is SUPER easy. Everything gets cleaned at the same time because the steaming cup and blender and lid fit together.Ive also used this to sanitize pacifiers, teethers,anything that fits.When we make a full cup of food, we pour it in an ice tray with rubber bottoms and store in the freezer. Each full cup fills up the tray so were not using it daily. This makes this already easy machine even easierIts 100% worth the investment. So stop reading reviews and go buy it, we all know its the best on the market. (Did i mention the customer service was amazing. Great experience from ever angle of this purchase)

Used this first with my second child, and it is the most useful baby equipment I have in the kitchen. The combination of steam and blender is so convenient that I’ve also used it not only for making baby food but also preparing sauces as well. It is so heavily used in the kitchen that the cup had worn out. Now with my 3rd baby who’s going to start solids soon I need my Evla baby food maker again. I messaged Ruth the owner if I can just order the cup to replace the old one. She was quick to reply and sent me a replacement - for free! Grateful for this and the owner really cares for their customers.As for the product - I love the look of it and something I can display on my countertop, also for the years I’ve used it it still works great (the cup had crack due to wear and tear - same material like the nutribullet cups I have), I love the ease of use, and of course what matters to us mamas - easy to clean! Blending power is just right for making baby food- of course you won’t be preparing something with nuts or anything hard like that. I always steam and then blend after.Before I forget to mention, it also came with reusable food pouches which is also a plus for me. I freeze the food in there and take it on long trips and even camping.Happy to support family-owned businesses like this that also offers great quality products. Highly recommended!

Although this gem arrived and has been sitting on the counter for a week, I see my daughter reaching for the stainless steel pot and basket steamer to make sweet potatoes for my 6-month old granddaughter last night. I encouraged her to try the new baby food steamer and exhausted she said, I don’t have time to learn a new appliance. I reached for the sweet potato and said I’ll wash, peel and cut you just figure out the sterilization feature and if it’s easy then we will use it if not I will take over from here and make dinner for the baby. In the time it took me to wash and peel the potato, she had the sterilization going with 10 minutes on the timer. She went to pump breast milk (her work never ends) and when she got back it was time to put the cut sweet potatoes in the machine. OMG how easy this gem is to use. I went back to my chores and 30 mins later, when I returned, the baby was finished eating and she was already processing apple sauce in prep for breakfast. She thanked me and smiled this sigh of relief, no more basket steaming on the stove, no more food processor step, no more waiting for the pan to cool and washing a sink full of dishes for 1 sweet potato. I think her life just got a little bit easier and that’s what grandmas (Mimi) are for. No wonder baby food steamer/maker is rated 5 stars! The only one I could find with 5 stars. I was apprehensive on buying this one, it was a little more expensive and had a smaller capacity than others and I know my daughter intends to meal prep ahead of time. But this little machine cleans and sterilizes itself, steams and purées all in the same container and the result is flawless. She can clean and cut everything then in painless batches prepare my granddaughter’s meals. What I wouldn’t have given for this 27 years ago when my daughter was trying her first sweet potatoes! Bravo to this machine, worth every penny!
