The texture of it is velvety soft. It's like as if your lips are being gently hugged whilst being moisturized at the same time. And it REMAINS soft feeling the entire time. However, the color is not long lasting at all lolThe whole "lip tattoo" concept of this product is completely incorrect. It does need to be reapplied after about 2 or 3 hours.

Really love the quality of the tone of this red. It's incredibly pigmented and gorgeous!!! I gave it four stars though, because even though it lasted awhile, I still had to reapply 3 times to get it to last all day. It starts to fade into your lips and leave a line of pigmentation on the outside, but I was fine gently reapplying. It's not too thick and doesn't feel tacky or uncomfortable on the lips, it's quite velvety. I'll get more colors.

No idea how this is after several hours. I came here fresh after applying and lemme tell you. It was love at first sight. I got the Bloodymary Red, Perfect red. PERFECT. I kissed my hand and nothing transferred. I put Vaseline Rosy lips therapy on top and still no lip tint came off and none of it faded. It is dry and not very moisturizing but that's not really a problem because you can use lip balm on top without worry. (or atleast vaseline). I will definitely buy more bloodymary red in the future from this brand.

This is a matte finish, and looks like it would be a nice holding color, the color is very pretty. That said it does not last very long at all. I would not buy it again. Does not last as long as my non-staining lip sticks.

I had buyers remorse prior to this stain arriving. Stains either disappear or eventually look like a Ronald McDonald smile. I thought the red might be too strong for me. Even minimal makeup looks heavy handed on me. I LOVE this tube. It really is the BEST blue based red I've encountered, it does last (I use a setting layer/primer to help, but it really does stay in place without it), it looks great with liner, but doesn't require it, and it's buildable. Just buy it. Pro tip: take care of you lips, and exfoliate them (a toothbrush followed by Vaseline will do) and you will love it too

I really wanted to love this lip stain. It goes on smooth and dries quickly which I really appreciated. It feels like a matte lipstick almost once dry. That said, I found it had little to no longevity. The area where my lips meet lost color within an hour which caused a harsh line. By 3 hours all the color was gone except the outline of my lips. That said, everyone's lips behave differently with stain. This one just wasn't for me.

I have very fair skin, look most natural with copper hair (but currently have been wearing hot pink hair most often), and this gave a nice, long-lasting tone between peachy and rosy that worked well under lip balm. I don't know much about make-up, but I like this.
