Amazing product
I Absolutely love this product because my son does not like noises and hairs on his body. We cut his hair Yesterday and we pretended to be like we were in the barbers, and it says in the booklet to count to 10, but we did like 5 or 6 And we had no crying and no buzz cut . absolutely amazing Product.

Autistic child
So happy I went and ordered this product my son always hated getting his hair cut and it got so much worse with age (7/8) ended up with 3 of us having to hold him down at the kids haircut place we went to I’ve been trying everything silent razers (that are never silent) songs and images letting him know where we are going beforehand nothing worked and it just got so bad I couldn’t do it anymore. I finally saw this product and was a bit sceptical to begin with and also the price made me think just because i bought stuff previously and it never worked. This product has completely changed the experience for us I use it in the shower with him so the hair can be washed off him straight away and because I’m not a professional barbers the different attachments are so helpful so I don’t scalp him! I’m still in the learning phase with him and haven’t moved from a blade five attachment because I’m building trust with him before trying different blades for different sections and we are working on getting by his ears and the back of his head slowly I’m not saying he likes it but we count to sixty and I get as much done in that time as I possibly can once a week and he can tolerate it a lot more then the hairdresser setting I will never bring him back to a barbershop again and put him through that distress and trauma.

Good product, would recommend
Really innovative idea. Nothing at all wrong with the product but takes a while to get used to it. Watched video demo which made it look so easy but with a fidgety child a lot more difficult than I expected. My little man has Down's and severe Autism. He has got use to me cutting his hair with scissors in the bath (little bit each day) over a few days. When he saw the blue attachment on the clipper he immediately became suspicious and reluctant to keep still. Took two attempts over 2 days to cut his hair , finishing off with normal scissors for top and behind ears. Looks neater than just scissors. I think it will be easier and will have better results when little man (and I) get used to the Calming Clippers. Need to remember to put your fingers in the opposite side of holes than you would normally hold scissors. Thumb at bottom and finger/s at top. cut upwards against the direction of hair growth. Buy and try!

His main issues being he doesn't like the sound of a clipper
I purchased a calming clipper for my 3 and a half year old son. Who hates having his haircut. His main issues being he doesn't like the sound of a clipper, having his hair touched or hair falling on his skin. We tested it out for the first time today. He seemed very excited that this was his own special pair of scissors. I found it helped by giving my son the hairdryer to hold so he could blow the loose hair away from his face or body while I attempted to cut his hair. We had to stop quite a few times because he became a little distressed. But I definitely felt alot more confident using the calming clippers than ordinary scissors. He seemed alot more calmer and the whole situation was alot less stressful for both of us. I found them very easy to use. The free Cape is also a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Very good
I loves these having a autistic son hair cuts was anit of a nightmare so with these it took the sound away which he didn’t like so now with no sound and all the different lengths and much safer when using scissors as there is no pointy sharp parts quality is nice and solid. Is it expensive YES is it worth it YES

Amazing!
I have just finished cutting my son's hair for the first time using the Calming Clippers and I can't believe how user friendly and easy it was.Our 9 year old boy grew petrified of having his hair cut at the barbers- whether it was with the machine or the scissors. The whole event was becoming traumatic for him. As he is pre verbal autistic he expressed his upset through hitting himself, screaming and lashing out at others.BUT NOT TODAY!!!!! Calming Clippers- this is some kind of wizardry. I can't thank you enough. Amazing product. And then I watched your video on how the product is made and oh my goodness- I am so moved. Thank you!Dervla,A very happy mother!!

Broke first time using
Good in theory but in practice they broke the first time I tried to attach a comb . The clip bit attached to the scissors to allow the combs to clip popped off the first time i used it.
