Iogear(R) Gwhdms54Mbk3 Long-Range 5 X 2 Hdmi(R) Matrix Pro With 2 Additional Receivers

I've had this product since September 2017. It seemed to work fine for a while, but just recently the transmitter has been failing to provide a consistent picture. It cycles back and forth between a black screen and picture every few seconds and renders all three TVs I have set up with it unwatchable. Considering I've read other reviews reporting the same issue, it is worthy of caution for anyone to buy this product. I have just reported it to IOGEAR support (it is within warranty) and have yet to hear back. I will reserve judgement until they have time to respond and consider changing my rating and review by editing hear if they happen to stand up and promptly replace.

works well but technical help was terrible

I've been looking for a solution that does exactly what this device does for about 2 years. I've tried other solutions that are a lot less expensive and none of them really worked.This one works. The picture is HD quality on all of my screens. There is no lag in the sound to speak of either.I currently having this device running on my main TV and mirror that content in my bedroom, kitchen, and outside projector. The ability to have a different source on the transmitter and receivers was an added bonus. Do note that all the receivers will get the same source. You can't select a different source for each receiver.

My intention was to use this across a range of 40 ft which entailed going through a wall. With a 200ft range, I felt like this would leave me some change to work with. The unit worked across a room of 12 ft although even then the handshaking protocol wasn't as steady as I'd like. For that distance, I can cable. I ran multiple positions and at 35ft with direct line of sight through a window, I still didn't get a connection, I packed it up and returned it. Realistic distances and real life conditions are what need to be advertised and will save everyone a lot of time and hassle.
