Looked for ages for a good wallet. This one is made of tough material and I was nearly put off buying as one review here said a tiny change pocket. The change pocket is no smaller than any other normal wallet I've had. Perfect wallet in my eyes even if a bit more pricey than others. I bought another one as a spare I was that impressed with it.

I like the design. Only issues I have is that it is smaller than I envisaged. The coin zip also does hold that much. When the wallet is full it bulks out, so it would have been useful if it had a a velcro patch to keep it closed. However, I imagine this will naturally mould to be closed after time, having kept it in your pocket.

Great wallet but cards are a bit of a tight fit.

As with many reviewers below, I was very disappointed with this wallet and returned it immediately: just dumped all day on the doorstep even though we were both in, the gift box was seriously dented, there is no popper or velcro to close the wallet, the pockets are too small for UK cards and it is a struggle to fold once anything is inside, making it doubly significant that there is no closing mechanism. At nearly £42 it is a clear case of style over substance. I now have a Timberland one which does the jobs this one didn't at considerably less than half the price.

I used to buy leather wallets until I realised they fell apart too often. I found this one and I've had it for a while now with no issues. Plus it came in a cool metal tin you can use for camping stuff.

Just got it today, and it’s nicer than I expected. It’s made from the signature high durability Carhartt fabric, feels like canvas or something similar. Very nice dark camo color and pattern. It has a nice flannel pattern on some internal pockets and in the money holding spot. Money sits deep in the area in which it’s held, which is nice. It feels rigid now since it’s new, the two folds stick up in the air when it’s laid down, but I know time will fix it when the wallet is broken in. Very nice and no complaints. If you’re not aware, Carhartt products tend to functionally last years, especially when they’re made from this canvas type of material. I’d say this is a very good pick for anyone considering buying a leather wallet vs. a fabric Carhartt wallet. I think the price is totally fair considering that Carhartt products have lasted me years on end
