After we cut down a huge pine tree, the A/C was getting a horrible amount of sun. I chose the slatted version so the A/C unit would have more air flow. BTW, I ordered this as a "like new" from Warehouse Deals and it was in perfect condition. Surprising since the box arrived with the flap completely missing off the end. The assembly took me 30 minutes, I laid all the pieces out on the bed. Once you get the first board connected, the rest is easy and goes quickly. I did the final assembly outdoors to make it into the L shape. I didn't put the spikes on since this is located next to a 100 year old oak tree and I knew I'd hit roots with the spikes. So I used landscape staples instead, looped over the bottom boards. The boards are light, thinnish cedar and they have no smell, unlike others have complained. The only time you need a drill is to attach the two panels together with the connector clips.

We're using it as a divider between neighbors yard and so far so good. Putting the panels together was easy and the materials feel like they are great quality.

I could smell the cedar from the wood. So that’s legit. The cost is pricey, but you’re paying for the convenience cause honestly this is something you could build yourself.To put together it’s not fast, but easy, especially if you have a power drill. In fact, it’s a must for the joiner parts.Also, use a device that shows you when things are level so you know how far you need to hammer in and to know when both sides are at the same level.It gets pretty windy here in New Mexico. I didn’t have it all the way up (just one side)and it stood up against the wind. I should’ve spent the extra $30 0r $40 for the that has the full wood panel. Now I gotta order extra slats to fill it in.

Looks great and easy to assemble. I'm 4.5 months pregnant and I was still able to finish most of it myself.Be aware there should be two pieces with a flat side intended to go on the top! I realized a little late, so one of my panels has a notched end on top. Overall really nice product, I'd buy it again!

This cute little structure helps hide the air conditioner and helps the backyard look much more estetic. I kept this fence in the garage for over 6 months thinking it will be a big deal to instal it. Honestly, 2 people can put it together and set it up in less than an hour. I am glad I finally made time for it, it really makes a big difference. Make sure you instal it so you have access to the screws just in case you need to get it apart to get access to the AC unit.

Very easy to put together, (69 yr young f) I purchased the auger to drill the holes in the rock bed and it goes well with the trash fence too. I painted it ( I hated to, it was such a nice look) to match the rest of the house. It does the job with two sides to obscure the AC unit, just what I wanted and has with stood 60 mph winds as well this fall.

This is a great value and includes two 48 inch panels. Very good workmanship. Good quality in grade of wood. Went together very easily. Privacy is great as the panels slide together with no gaps. I am very pleased with this purchase. This is the privacy panels that are all wood and top caps and has no metal.

I purchased four panels (2x2 pkgs) to put around my split system A/C units that sit in my front-side yard. It always bothered me that these could be viewed from the street. These fence panels disguise the two unitsnicely, while leaving open space around back should anyone need to access the units for repair or replacement. The panels went together very nicely, the packaging, instructions and product are quite elegant in their simplicity. I recommend these panels!
