I sent mine in for an appraisal, just to see what quality it would fall under and found it to be a fake. Do not buy.

These diamonds are very good and I would buy again
I was wrong with my first review it seams that I needed to turn up my diamond checker to 8 to get it to read these diamonds. I am use to reading them at a much lower reading. Sorry for the wrong review and thank all for the help.

Simple diamon testing. with or without tester.
Be careful of jewelry clerks. They don"t read the directions of their chineese diamond tester. It is cheap but works and actually works well if you bother to read the directions. And they may seem complicated- On the second and third page it refers to increasing the power lights to 7 or 8 lights of power when testing an 8 or 9ct and above diamond. Most jewelry clerks will never see such a diamond. They only see the cut version of up to 1/2 ct. which the selector is set for-4 lights.of power.. Many rough diamonds are far above that. 16 times that for an 8ct. rough.- when cut and polished may at best yeild a 3 to 4ct. ready to mount diamond. - Round or whatever shape to be determined solely by the cutter. Also many cutters do not know how to use a tester and increase the power lights to 7 or 8. They can however test the mohs. hardness. Only a diamond is mohs. hardness > 10..Simply use your diamond to scratch a piece of corundum - ruby or sapphire rough.- If it leaves a scratch when firmly run across it. You have a diamond-mohs. hardness > 10.. Reversing the process will not leave a scratch of the slightest degree even when using a loupe. The corundum simply abrades and is easily rubbed off. - no scratch. My sincere hope is that all diamond purchasers regardless of the seller will read and apply these simple instructions before making any decisions ----9stones
