Replaced laptop battery. Charges well. Loses charge rather rapidly. Went from 1 hour charge to less than 4% charge in less than 30 minutes. Really have to question quality of this battery. Laptop works fine. Has SSD rather than original hard drive. No evident reason battery should discharge so rapidly. Make the laptop of little use unless charger can be used.

Bought this battery due to the aging one my Toshiba Satellite A660 had. It would usually last about an hour on a full charging cycle and I wanted to repurpose it as a backup computer. I found this battery replacement and gave it a shot to see if it would improve use time and performance. I have dealt with several aftermarket batteries and many of them have gone bad after a couple of months. This battery though, has lasted for many months without any degradation on use time (which is about ~4-5 hours) and have not experienced any problems charging this battery pack with the OEM charger. Upon arrival, it came in a anti-static bag to protect the battery from electromagnetic interference. The install was relatively simple: just remove the side latches on the old battery and slide out, and slide the new battery in and secure the latches. Since this battery model is a higher capacity one, the new battery does prop the laptop up in about a 10-15 degree angle. I didn't know what to expect before buying it, but I actually prefer it now since it raises the keyboard up at a comfortable angle and allows the laptop to have better air flow (a problem I have dealt with the Satellite A660). I highly recommend this laptop battery for those who need to replace their Toshiba's battery (especially if your Toshiba has a dedicated graphics card and a power-hungry Intel Core i7 processor)! Great value for the price, fits perfectly into the battery slot, and makes my old Toshiba laptop bearable enough as a backup computer.

The battery charge is lasting only about 1 hour (with energy saving mode “ON”) and the charge is dropping from 20% to zero in little few seconds, not giving me the opportunity to save my work or even connect the computer to the outlet wall. According the advertisement should last at least more than 2 hours. I used the notebook until the battery is depleted and after that recharged it to fully charge (more than 5 times) and seems that the battery is not holding charge. A interesting thing is it only takes about 5 minutes to the battery get fully charged 0 to 100%), I think that this should take a little longer. It seems to be a defective item.

First thoughts. Arrived almost too quickly and well protected, fully charged and ready to go. Pre first cycle - temps stay significantly cooler after 1 hr average user load testing than OEM battery. Will update after a couple test cycles of the battery.

Revised product review as of Sept. 27, 2017. First review was a 1-Star due to the battery received immediately NOT taking a charge, and messages from the Laptop PC reporting "that the battery was NO Good needed replaced". Thus a defective battery. It was returned for an Amazon credit of the same. After this I purchased another battery (to OEM specs) from Amazon and installed it - that battery allowed the PC to once again work normally. Now in recent weeks - after a long delay - the original Amazon Seller contacted me directly and offered to replace the defective battery with what they said would be a personally tested good one directly applicable to the OEM specs for my PC. I advised the seller that I purchased another battery and did not need their replacement. However, the Amazon seller wanted me to be happy, to try another battery from them sent free, and also revise my original review. I finally agreed to try another battery. I received this second battery on Sept 25, 2017, it was properly marked as per OEM specs (however completely made in China vs. Japan Cells) , allowed the replacement battery to fully charge up while NOT using the PC, and tried it after charging. However, this replacement battery DOES NOT allow the LED Charging/Charged indicator light to even LIGHT UP. The detailed status and illustration given by the PC's programming itself shows that this replacement battery was charging only up to 96% - but discharging at 2%-6% quickly even during idle - with no real PC usage, and all while still plugged into AC adapter power, and still NO indicator LED working! Thus it is the opinion of this consumer that - Albeit that the batteries received by from seller DO APPEAR to be new (packaged normally), and no signs of pre-usage, etc., that the batteries themselves may be NEW, however, they may have been manufactured some time ago, and thus just do not function properly. As soon as I reinstalled the battery purchased earlier this month from the other seller all indicators, and battery internal status returned to normal. I am now giving this Amazon Seller at least a 3-Star rating vs. a 1-Star because they DO SEEM to care, and have tried. It may not be their fault for products that may not be as fresh as THEY feel they're providing, or fully function as they are supposed to.

Battery came with 21% charge, plugged it in charged to 91% before using laptop, battery went from 91 to 30 % in less than 5 minutes then died, no charge value at all laptop shutdown. I swapped for old battery from Battery Doctor laptop worked again, put new one in again left plugged in for 2 hours, would not charge. I am back to the old one, where I live in the rural north, cost to return battery would be $40 dollars so will not return, but will not purchase another of this brand!
