Great cables!!! Ty Amazon
I happen to own a professional DJ entertainment company so when it comes to speaker, cable cables, or microphone cables, I can’t play games. It has to work. This isn’t a hobby for me. This isn’t something I just do in my basement for fun. this is something that is coming with me to somebody’s wedding sweet 16 anniversary corporate event or a very special occasion. It has to work end of discussion.. Amazon basics has really come a long way. I took a chance and thank God because so far at the time I’m writing this review. It works fantastic. No complaints. The quality is good. The look is good. The length is good. Everything is wonderful now if in the future, I have a problem with it. I may update this review but if you see this review exactly as you see it now with no updates, then consider this a win-win situation and I would recommend them.

Great Cheap Cables
I was a little apprehensive of using Amazon Basics cables for sound engineering applications, but they actually work great. I haven't noticed any significant interference, and get great signal quality out of them. They're clean, thick cables like any other brand. I'll definitely be buying more of these cables on the cheap.

Work as it should
Works just as it should. Definitely an off the ground cord. Feels like too much walking on it or stepping on it would compromise it.

Good quality, Well worth the money
I initially thought this might not be the best quality, considering I never have a terribly good experience with generic brands like Amazon Basics, but XLR cables tend to be pretty uniform across the board, and this was about what I'd expect from a good quality XLR cable. The shielding is enough, but not so much it's bulky, the sound quality is the same as any other XLR cable I've used, the connectors fit perfectly, and the cable is pretty easy to wrap/loop around without it feeling like you're forcing the cable to bend past its limits. All in all, if you need an XLR cable, this'll probably be a pretty affordable option for the quality.

Workhorse style cables. Not flashy but they’re great.
I chose these cables for some wireless mics I needed to connect to my mixer. These are cheap, sturdy with decent build quality, and have quality connection points that lock in so no one can just rip them out. I’d buy these again in a heart beat. I used 20’ cables for 4 mics and they work. They also come with 2 cable ties for each cable which I think is actually super nice. Once you stock up on cables you realize how nice cable management is. To the best of my abilities I think the sheathing on the cable is SLIGHTLY thinner than other cables I’ve used. If that’s a big issue to you just be warned 🤷♂️

Great, durable XLR cable. See details for use case limitations. Highly recommended
From my previous experiences, I generally think of AmazonBasics as kind of a no-frills brand. However, when I was looking around for a shorter XLR cable (most of mine are 15 or 25 feet), I was shocked to see the AmazonBasics cable. First, I didn't think there was enough XLR cable sale volume to warrant them carrying them under their brand. Second, the product images looked pretty good. No, the cables aren't colored, but you can solve that with some tape at the ends. The cable itself is a light gauge affair, with a decent amount of insulator. It coils easily and doesn't kink, and while it's a bit less heavy duty than most XLR cables, it seems more than good enough for my needs. I would say, though, that you will want something heavier if you want to tape these directly to the stage. They are perfect for on-camera, in-rack, of, on-table applications. The thing that made me notice these cables in the product photos, and ultimately what made me buy them, was that the interconnect is encased in metal. While it's not technically necessary, I really appreciate the extra durability on the highest wear part of an item that is used all of the time. If I have a clumsy moment, I don't have to worry about having trashed the end of some of my audio rigging. That leads me to my last observation... XLR is usually used in professional setups, which favor things like locking connections. The tab on the male end of the cable worked well with EVERYTHING that I tried it with. The clip and release on the female end was less than perfect. The mating plastic (not exactly a gasket), kept a couple of my cables and devices from clipping in properly - that was 2 of 15 tried. A few of the ones that fit only clicked when a large amount of force was applied. While the lock release is textured, it's not comfortable to use if you need a lot of force to release the clip. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I thought I should mention it.If you need a good quality XLR cable with good durability, and you don't have to use it unguarded on a trafficked floor surface, this should be excellent for you. Highly recommended.
