Works on old kindle
The charger cum cable worked on an old kindle, 3rd generation keyboard. I am able to charge the kindle again. The charger and cable cable combo is pricey, in my opinion. I went ahead to buy it because it is specific to my kindle model.PS: I edited this review on May 30, 2022.

This is a regular micro USB - doesn’t fit the D00901
I have the original Kindle, which is the D00901 model, and this cord doesn’t fit it. This is just a regular micro USB.

Worked as advertised...
Had an old version of Kindle e-reader; misplaced original cord and this one worked well. I always like a longer cord but this one was ok. Would purchase again if needed.
