Nice finish, much lighter than cast iron.

Great, light Dutch oven. Would be nice to hold one more quart!. I take this backpacking when I have a group of 5-6. Can cook on a stove, fire, etc. Very versatile. The anodize makes a great not-stick surface that is easy to clean. I have purchased one for each of my adult children.

I am really happy with mine. We take it on scout trips and it doesn't get a good washing for a few days sometimes. The aluminum keeps the weight down and I don't have to worry about rust and seasoning.

This is the only pot of it's kind that I'm aware of. A hard annodized cast aluminum dutch oven for outdoor use. For bushcraft/survival purposes. This is best in class pretty easily. If you don't believe me, listen to season 8 winner of Alone Clay Hayes tell you. He loves this thing and has used the same one for like 9 years.Why buyer beware? Because at the time I purchased this they didn't list the actual size of this pot. It's 2 quarts.

It's great, it's light, it's well made. I really like that the handle flips all the way down one way, but if you flip it it stands up like in the picture. This is super useful for cooking on a fire. I've used this pot for the last 6 months as my primary pot for cooking, usually it's bee over an open fire.One warning, if it's full of liquid and you carry it by the handle, it WILL flip over and dump your dinner on the ground. This is not a pot for hanging from a tripod, if you want that you need something deeper, and you'll probably want a different type of bail for the handle.

Great product. Very light and ideal size for backpacking. Cleans up very well compared to regular aluminium and cast iron camp ovens.Heats up quickly and does a nice job of baking deserts. Delivered on time and a great price too with free shipping

Way lighter, easier to clean, and seemingly more even heat distribution when cooking with it. Can't imagine any reason to ever use my cast iron dutches, again.
