Now they have made the wrong mobster angry and he is gunning to hurt The Boss back. Michelle and her son are now a target, but she isn't going to give Jake her heart like she did years ago. He is going to have to prove he is here to stay and love her the way she deserves.Secrets they both are keeping could bring them closer but also drive a wedge between the two that they might never overcome.This is probably my favorite story in the series so far. Jake and Michelle love each other so much, but Jake has demons that he can't seem to overcome. When Michelle marries Jake's best friend, Jake tries hard to hide all that he feels, especially when his friend dies in Jake's arms. The two have huge problems of loving so deeply and passionately, but not communicating what really needs to be said. Throw in several years of Jake running from Michelle and you have the giant wall that neither will be scaling anytime soon.Jake is such a deep character. He is troubled by PTSD over what he saw and did while being a SEAL. Fighting daily, he knows the demon inside of him will raise it head given just a little encouragement and leave such destruction. He is quite the alpha man, so to deal with it he throws himself away from people who care for him and goes back into action on the riskiest of missions. At some point he decides he has to deal with the demon, knowing it will never totally go away. I loved how the author didn't gloss over what Jake felt. Men and women go through this every day and it doesn't just go away overnight. To protect Michelle, he had to push her away even though he know he was in love with her.Michelle is a totally strong and awesome woman. Her husband is killed in action while she is pregnant. She picks herself up and still offers love support to all the men on that same mission, even Jake, who refuses it. Now she lives close to her brother, but just recently was allowed into the close nit group. Knowing Frank and Michelle's past helps you understand the strength in her character to provide a good home for her son. She is no push over with the Knights. Giving as good as she gets to all of them, she puts Jake in his place as just their protector. She makes him work hard to earn her love once again.There is an awesome twist to the story that has both of them re-evaluating how they viewed each other. I didn't see it coming until I was blindsided by it.Overall, I adored this story of two people that have hurt each other, past mistakes that are hard to forgive and a love that won't be denied its perfect match. The two are such passionate characters that they light the pages on fire when they are together.We do get to see a lot of the Knights in the story, with hints of who the next book will be about. I like that we don't just see the hero and heroine's side, but also the bad guy(s) and other Knights. It is a well rounded story of love, sex, action and friendship. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a awesomely fun ride with the Knights!

Rev It Up is the third book in the Black Knights Inc. series. I have fallen in love with the guys and gals who star in this series.In the last book we met the sister of Frank "Boss" Knight. Boss runs a covert special ops group out of his fiance's custom bike shop. He employs ex military men; Navy SEALS, Marines and Army Rangers to take on missions too dirty for the United States to deal with.He has kept his sister, Michelle and her son hidden from everyone for their safety. But Shell is tired of being left out of Boss' life and wants to be included in the goings on of the guys. So she decides to introduce herself to the group while Boss is undergoing surgery. Now the cat is out of the bag.Jacob "Jake the Snake" Sommers, has a history with Shell. He's loved her for as long as he's known her. But Jake has been dealing with his demons. As an ex SEAL, he has seen some bad stuff. And what has resulted is him losing control at times. That scares him to death. So instead of talking to Shell about things, four years earlier, he pushes her into the arms of his best friend. Preacher, whom she ends up marrying and having a son with. Now Preacher is dead, again something Jake feels responsible for. But Jake is more in control and he wants Shell back.Johnny Vitiglioni, is a drug lord from Las Vegas. He was brought into the picture in the first book, Hell On Wheels by a dirty U.S. Senator to take out the sister of one of the Knights. This resulted in two of his "family" being killed at the hands of the Knights. Now Johnny wants revenge. Not just an eye for an eye, but a family member for a family member. He's placed a high bounty on the heads of the Knights.Much to his delight, Snake is assigned to guard Shell and her son. Something she is strongly opposed to. Because no matter how hard she tries, or how angry she is, Jake is someone she cant seem to get out of her head or her heart.This was a great story. I love the character of Jake. And his relationship with Shell. These stories are more of a thriller/romance. They are well written and contain just enough action and tension to make them a fun read.

At the end of In Rides Trouble we saw the return of Jake "the Snake" Sommers who came back for Michelle, who we also met in IRT and turns out is Frank(Boss)Knight sister.Jake, Boss, Preacher and Rock were all Navy Seals together four years ago. Their last mission together ended with Preacher getting killed who was married to Michelle, and who Jake was still in love with but due to his messed up mind from an earlier mission where over two hundred Marines were killed he had pushed her away and into Preacher's arms. In Preacher's dying last breathe told Jake that she was pregnant.Four years later Jake shows up at Black Knights headquarters with every intention of getting back the only woman he has ever loved. Problem is Michelle doesn't believe his declaration of love and only wants to protect her son.When its found out a bounty has been put on all of there heads the group get in teams to find the guy that put it there. Much to Michelle's dismay this leaves Jake as her and her son's bodyguard and bullet catcher.Rock is teamed up with Vanessa to stake out a hotel where they think the bad guy has been hiding out. Vanessa would like more with Rock but Mr Cajun lives a double life and knows his second job prevents him from even thinking about getting involved in a relationship no matter how attracted his is to Vanessa.Now that Becky is a part of the team Frank allows her to do more it was funny at times to see these two working together and Frank having more of a sense of humor and showing his lovey dovey side which is funny for a man his size :)It was interesting to see a man come in from the beginning of the book declaring his love for a woman and vowed he would win her back. There are a few bumps along the way and a big surprise. It was great seeing the team back in action and April 2013 cant get here soon enough for Rock and Vanessa's story.

Yet another great addition to the series this book follows the story of the bosses sister shell or as Becky has named her Mrs mcgivesitup if you've read the first 2 stories In this series the nicknames will make sense.We also find out a bit more about rock and we are introduced to snake aka jake.Again the author is writing around 5 different characters but it's not confusing in the least.This story is sort of a following from the first but it can be read as a stand alone as history is given into why some things are happening.There is romance, bombshells, sex and Violence in this book and a couple of murder death scenes in this book. And I though that itWas written well

Wow another excellent book loved it all, oh so exciting and emotional a real proper rollercoaster of a ride. I recommend to everyone to get into this series its fabulous, now on to the next. Thanks

Good story, good series

Loved this book and I have now read the whole series of Black Knight Inc.............I'm a fan of series of book, I like it when they introduce characters in previous books and leave you eager to know their back story, so this is a winner for me
