essie Nail Care Hard To Resist Nail Strengthener: Pink Tint, Glow & Shine 13.5ml

I love this from the first use! It gives a really nice shine and clean look to my nails and I could already feel the difference after 24 hrs. Definitely going to buy a second time.

I do like this as it adds a nice light pink tint to my nails. I find that I need at least 2 coats as it does seem to rub off quite easily, having said that, I will continue to buy. Not sure how much stronger it makes my nails, they still split, but I don’t find it any worse than others I have tried.

This product is great for when you need to give your nails a break and some TLC. I used this after I took my acrylic nails off and I would recommend it. It initially dries a dark pink after application, but then I hopped into a warm bath and when I got out the dark pink had faded, and my nails were a healthy natural colour. What I love most about it is the shine and the longevity. I applied it almost 2 weeks ago but my nails are still shining (in the time I’ve washed dishes, showered, done housework, daily life etc). It looks like I’m wearing top coat on my nails, but it doesn’t feel like top coat, it feels totally natural. It’s not like a nail polish, it doesn’t chip or peel off. Would definitely recommend

I had high hopes for the Essie Hard To Resist Nail Strengthener, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. While it applies nicely and gives a smooth finish, I didn’t notice a significant improvement in nail strength. It also didn’t have the glow I was expecting.That said, it’s not a bad polish—it works as a light protective layer and adds a subtle shine. If you're looking for a basic nail treatment, it might be worth trying, but for real strengthening benefits, I’d look elsewhere.

I have always had weak nails and they gotten worse since entering the menopause.Not a fan of gels as they trash my nails and I don't do acrylics. I have to be basic with mine which is a shame. This product works for me, I cannot say it will work for everyone.It has taken a good month on use and today I had a manicure and the nail tech said how nice my nails looked. Considering I haven't had a manicure in about 4/5 months and have been filing them myself I was pretty chuffed.For the money it's worth a go. If it doesn't work for you you've not wasted a whole lot of cash. I will continue to use it a couple of times a week as it's keeping my nails pretty strong (stronger than they have ever been tbh).

I used this product for weeks, reapplying daily to the tips of my nails where it had peeled off. It made absolutely NO DIFFERENCE to my weak and splitting nails. I understand that it may provide some protection to otherwise good nails that have perhaps just had acrylic removed and are need a boost. But for naturally weak nails, like mine, it did absolutely NOTHING. It appears to be just a nail varnish. Nothing more. If anyone can point me in the direction of something that actually works for naturally awful nails I would appreciate it. I’m in my 60s and my nails have always been like this.

Thus nail strengthener is one of the best product I ever used. I used different ones but I had to go back to this one. Unfortunately, it seems to have been discontinued cannot find in any shop but hopefully Amazon still has it. Highly recommend.

It's good but it could be great. I love how smooth this is to apply on my nails, they instantly look improved with a healthy pink tint to them. However the staying power is poor. My nails last a whole day before the polish begins to chip and peel. It's not a massive problem if you're someone who is happy to apply daily like myself but if you are after something that will last throughout the week you'll be disappointed. One thing I have noticed is whilst using this my nails have barely cracked or broken and they have grown a lot, so the pros outweigh the cons for me, and I would definitely purchase again.
