LAI MENG FIVE CATS Women's V Neck Button up Casual A-line Midi Dress with Pockets

First, I included the image of the dress from the website b/c unless customers include a picture, I can never tell which exact Lai Meng dress style reviewers are referring to in their reviews. So this review refers to the one dress I have ordered from this manufacturer. I made sure I chose a style “shipped by Amazon” on Prime with free returns. It turns out that was smart b/c the dress arrived in mere days, and when I had to return it for a smaller size, the return process was trouble free. The dress itself is beautiful, no worries about the quality of the fabric. Most impressive is the pattern match at the seams on the bodice, a skill I hardly ever see on dresses I’ve paid a lot more for. Another plus is the accuracy of the size chart provided. I was skeptical and went up a size, but I had to return it for the smaller size b/c that size chart isn’t kidding. (I did have to move the cuff buttons to fit snugly at the wrist.) My only reservation is that although I always wash clothes before wearing, I’m afraid to wash this dress b/c the colors are so vibrant that I’m afraid they’ll fade.

I got the pleated blue dress with floral bands. The belt was horribly stitched - very uneven. This was a total disappointment that is going back. As with all items from this seller, they are either a total hit or a total miss.The seller is messing with the sizing now too. I am sure, some of you have noticed that since corona outbreak there are many new styles of dresses available, but very few via Prime. QC is at its lowest with this seller. I got a dress in size 2. The waist was huge.

This dress had a nice fabric and style. However, the fit was horrible. I ordered a medium and could even close the bottom by the breast area and it was like that all the way down the dress. I would the medium fits like size 0/2

I ordered a size 10.I am 5'5" and 160 lbs.My measurements are:B: 38W: 33H: 42The size 10 fits PERFECTLY. It leaves just enough comfortable give for sitting/bending/moving while hugging your body shape.This is not one of those cases where international sizing throws things off. I normally wear a size 12 pants and a size 10 top. I ordered by my smaller top size because the skirt portion flares out anyway. Right choice.I hope this helps!

I love this dress, and get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I wasn't sure what the material would be, it's not cheap but not very fine, and I really can't tell if it looks anything like the picture but I'm keeping it. It's good for fall. It's great for feeling fun and spicing up your work wardrobe! :)

Runs small - I normally wear a size 4. I returned and eventually decided on a size 8 - will have my seamstress take it in a bit to fit perfectly. Although I wear a size 6 in other styles in this brand, this particular dress is cut much smaller.

Wow what an elegant dress. Strangers walk up and compliment me on this dress. Extremely flattering and slimming.
