I have been a professional photographer for years. One of the things I have always found is you can buy cheap gear and get by with cheap gear but that’s what you end up with is cheap gear. This is a rule I now follow because no one wants to be using cheap gear and have it fail in the middle of a job. So when I decided I needed a new beauty dish I planned on going with a company I knew and trusted but after seeing this brand and what looked like a great deal on something pretty hard to mess up I thought I would give them a chance. I am glad I did. They take the rule from above and break it. Not only is the dish well made but it comes with a great canvas bag, grid, and cover. All for under the price of a standard beauty dish. Well-made product at a great price with extras. Good deal that you won't be disappointed with.

I don't dislike anything about it. I bought this and the silver one to it. I haven't tested the silver out yet but this white one gives beautiful light. I assisted a photographer buddy of mine on a beach bikini shoot about a week or so ago and this came in handy as a very natural looking fill light on the model. And we also used it for a wedding ceremony as well.It handled the little bit of wind we had at times very well. These types of metal modifiers do much better in wind than typical softboxes and umbrellas.When you don't want/need to take large modifiers with you this will do you right. I'm very impressed with the light we got out of this thing. This modifier is fantastic. The light has a very smooth punch when used with the diffuser. I haven't used it without the diffuser yet but when I do I'll amend the review with the additional info.Just the fact that this beauty dish comes with a grid AND a case is a MASSIVE deal. I love metal beauty dishes. There's just a quality to the light that modern, collapsible "beauty dishes" don't have, even if the light quality might look similar. I'm loving this modifier and can't wait to use it again....and to test out the silver version! Will be back at some point with THAT review :)

I love this product, it’s the perfect size and great value for the money. I only have two small issues, the honeycomb grid seems a bit fragile and the construction is slightly inconsistent throughout the full grid area. Also the carrying case for the entire product is a little tight and requires some maneuvering to get the zipper completely closed around the entire dish

The reflector plate has to be installed. They supply the screws, pins and plate, but the holes in the plate are considerably further apart than the holes for the pins on the dish itself. I had to physically bend the pins to make it fit. I feel like there's maybe a plate out there that should have been sent instead, but I called a friend who ordered this exact same dish and it was the same for her. It would have helped if there were some instructions that came with it, but there were not.While I'm at it, Valentines Day is coming up and I still don't have a date.

I am very pleased with the quality of this beauty dish. I wasn't expecting the carrying/storage bag, which is actually very handy. The mesh grid is a little tricky to get on and off, but the diffusion sock fits perfectly.
