I am a teacher and I thought the students would like this lamp because of the magnetic aspect. It turns out they do like it, a lot. It just looks odd and catches your attention. They like to grab the lower sphere and turn the lamp on and off. Also a good earthquake detector.

Not as sturdy as the last one I purchased. Therefore a four star.
