I have been using this for my home work setup for a couple of years. Works as expected, simple and effective. I have less issues with this than my expensive computer dock at work. I do occasionally unplug everything and power off but not very often.

I’ve been using two of these docking stations for over a year now, one as my daily driver and another a few times a week. Both have been solid with no issues at all. They reliably run dual 1080p monitors at 60Hz through the DisplayPorts while handling all three USB ports in use, without any lag on mouse or keyboard input. The units do run a bit warm when charging a laptop battery, but that’s expected with such a compact, high capacity design. Overall, they’ve proven to be dependable.

TLDR; main connection cable is weak, doesn't do well with bending or movement. Functions best when it can stay straight & untouched. Purchased Summer 2022. Worked well for the first 6 months, but then had connection issues that got worse over time. Had to constantly move it to get my 2nd monitor to display. HDMI cable replaced, same issue. Recently (last week) took it on vacation so I could hook my Mac up to the TV in the hotel room to display streaming services from the computer. It connected for a second, but if I bumped my computer or slightly moved it to make more space, it immediately disconnected. Noticed a bump at the base of the cable where it goes into the hub and suspect the wiring has twisted inside the protective cover and potentially frayed. Finally replacing it, since I tried everything else. If your set up requires bending the cable or you need a mobile workstation where you may have to bend the cable for storage, I would definitely go with something that has been stress tested more adequately.
