So happy I spent the money. Soldered all the wires together on the workbench plugged my new stereo in and everything worked perfectly not a complaint in the world. Saved me a lot of time and headaches. Worth every stinking penny!

Metra 70-5519 purchased through Googol. This was exactly what I needed to replace a broken Mach 460 stereo with a Kenwood. The kit has two connectors, one for the radio and one for the amp. The colors matched up exactly to the Kenwood connector wires. My only concern was all the amp ground wires didn't have an equivalent Kenwood wire. But I just connected all the amp grounds with the regular ground and it worked fine. I connected the RCA jacks to the Kenwood SW jacks. The Kenwood has two sets of RCA jacks with one labeled front and the other labeled Rear/SW. Since the Mach 460 has some big subwoofers in the trunk, I figured using the SW jacks is the way to go. It took about an afternoon to wire everything up and it sounded great. What I like about these kits it that you don't have to guess at the wiring or hack up the original wiring. So if I decided to trade-in the car, I can just put the original radio back in and keep the radio for another car.

As reported by others, one of the sockets is very tight, but otherwise, works perfectly.

We installed this without any problems. We upgraded my son's car stereo so he could play music from his ipod and needed this cable to complete the install. I'm pretty sure you would need this cable to install any aftermarket radio with the Mach 460 sound system. On the 2002 Mustang, the 2 Black/White wires on the RCA bundle need to be connected to the Black/White wire on the 16 pins connector. Also, the 2 Blue/White wires on the RCA bundle need to be connected to the Blue wire on the 16 pin connector. Everything else matches up exactly. We left the Orange and Orange/Blanck wires disconnected. Powered it up with no problems, radio sounds better than ever.

Excellent quality, wire color was a good match, and made installation of an aftermarket radio simple. This worked great with the factory Mach460 sound system wiring in my 2003 Ford Mustang. The previous owner installed an aftermarket head unit with the wrong harness that did not use all the Mach460 features. Sound quality is great.
