Great product. Wrap it in a towel and then wrap it around your knee. Used these for several years.
Excellent ice pack to cool my new replaced knee joint after my Physical Therapy working it (bends, short walks, etc) I got several of these - they lay flat in freezer (dont take up much room), and they wrap around the knee to provide more consistent cooling (be sure to wrap it in something like a hand towel so its not laying directly on the skin). Then I use elastic athletic wrap to hold it in place (that stretchy brown wrap). Worked great, I was able to exercise knee with PT and with a walker, then ice it for half hour and pop back in freezer several times a day, and didnt need or use any pain pills (just slightly stronger Tylenol, and Aleve). After 3 days, I switched from using a walker to walking on my treadmill, so I could practice a proper stride and set a consistent pace and distance - a mile at 1.5 mph. After just 18 days, I was outside, walking a mile with no support, no crutch, no cane, just out walking pretty normal. If youre looking at knee replacement, how bad or good it is depends on how committed you are to doing the PT. Most important is the "heel slide", laying on back, slide your heel, bending the knee up as much as you can ten times, holding it at peek bend for 10 seconds. Then again, but this time with a strap around your foot to pull it, trying to relax the knee muscles so just the strap is pulling it up Try to get to where it hurts a little but is not really painful. Dont worry, the first day or 2 you might not be able to move it at all, but it soon gets better. Then keeping leg straight, raise the foot about 6 inches up, and hold for 5 seconds, working up to 10 seconds. The PT for going down stairs and getting out of cars is just stand holding back of a chair, and bend the knee / calf as far back as you can, lifting the foot as high as you can. Dont bend the hip, just the knee. The PT folks send me home after just half the sessions cuz I was already at desired goals (bend the knee 120+ degrees, and walking down stairs). Bottom line, if you just had a knee replaced, then you've got nowhere to be and nothing else to do, so might as well work on getting better, so do your PT, and dont forget to ice it. Do PT (heel slides etc), and WALK a lot. After reading all the stories about how long it takes to recover from knee replacement, I found one who was out walking after 6 weeks, so that was my goal. I was walking in 18 days. And still doing the PT bends for several more weeks cuz the knee is still healing, so dont let it heal just straight, keep working on max bend. Also used them when I had my hips replaced, which is relatively easy compared to knee. Basically do the PT, ice it, and walk around pretty normally with a cane for 5-6 weeks, then youre done.

Great for use with all jaw needs!
We actually used this for two reasons, one child had lockjaw and needed to apply heat to the TMJ, this worked perfectly, the inserts were rated for heat or cool. The strap held the inserts in pockets and it fit snugly around the head to hold them in place. This was also used for a child who had wisdom teeth removed, again, held the ice packs in place well. The material is soft and comfortable around the head.

great for tmj
It might not be the most comfortable thing to wear but it helps so much with tmj pain. It stays on decently, though the velcro area is a bit less strong after about 2 months. The packs heat quickly and freeze in a couple hours.

Sturdy, But Very Rigid Fresh Out Of the Freezer
These are great ice packs that stay cold for a long while. The only drawback is that when they freeze, the gel is very hard and rigid (it’s not a gel that stays flexible when frozen). It takes 15 minutes or so for it to soften up enough to mold around where you need it. Otherwise, they’re nice and sturdy.

Good size. Stay cold a long time
Got these to fit into a two pack ice pack for my shoulder to have plenty for rotation after shoulder surgery. Worked great.

Absolutely the best
Due to neuropathy I sleep pretty much packed in ice, and after much searching this is the on;y gel ice pack that I continue to buy. Here is why: - It gets very cold. This is effective for me. - The cold is ridiculously long lasting - At least a couple of hours when exposed to a lot of body heat, and just laying on top of a limb more like 4 to 5 hours. I keep an extra set of cold packs next to my bed in case I wake up during the night, either in an insulated lunch bag or wrapped in a scarf, and either way with that extra bit of insulation these stay cold all night. Durability - I fold these, scrunch them up, and generally abuse them. I use them daily, and after over a year of use none have sprung a leak yet. Flexibility - I like my gel ice packs to solidify, as I have never had one that stays completely soft stay cold for any significant amount of time. These solidify but remain flexible, enough that I can bend them in half when they are frozen "solid". Highly recommended by me, somebody who could not survive without cold packs!

Life line
Absolutely with the money. Had shoulder surgery and these were my lifeline after the surgery. Was so impressed with how well they stayed frozen. They were so ease to use and so easy to place in the freeze in a bent position so it would adhere to my shoulder. So comfortable on on the shoulder and the quality of the gel is amazing. You are not wasting your money on this product.

This ice pack and heat pack set has been really useful and versatile. The packs heat up quickly in the microwave and stay warm for a good amount of time, making them great for muscle aches and stiffness. When used cold, they chill well in the freezer and provide effective relief for swelling or minor injuries. The size is practical and fits comfortably around different areas like the back, shoulders, knees, or stomach. The outer material feels durable and comfortable against the skin, and it doesn’t leak or become overly stiff when frozen. I also like how easy they are to switch between hot and cold use — very convenient to have both options in one product. For the price, this set feels like excellent value and something I reach for regularly. Overall, a reliable and effective hot and cold therapy solution that does exactly what it’s meant to do.

I bought a few of these a while ago and they're perfect. It's really hard to find an ice pack that is still squishy when frozen, so it's easy to manipulate and not as uncomfortable as the hard ones. These are a good size, stay cold for a long time and feel good when I need it for a migraine or injury. I think they'd do well with keeping food cold too as you could wrap them around something if needed.

After20 yrs of propping patients’ arms into awkward positions, my own elbows have started to complain. By mid-afternoon the joints feel hot and swollen, and the drive home is often spent with a melting ice pack balanced on the steering wheel, hardly ideal. A colleague at the clinic recommended the Freeze Sleeve, so I took a punt on the large to XL model. It slid over my forearm without the usual wrestling match, then the two Velcro tabs tightened everything just enough without pinching. The outer layer, a smooth nylon and polyester mix, feels more like decent sportswear than medical kit. More importantly, the gel inside never turns into a rigid block; even after eight hours in the freezer it comes out flexible and ready to mould itself round the joint. Because the chill spreads evenly, I avoid the burning patch that traditional ice cubes leave behind. On Sunday morning I swapped the freezer for the microwave, gave the sleeve the recommended zap and pulled it on after a muddy 10 kilometre run. The warmth soothed my stiff wrist almost straight away. Later that week it went back in the cold for a bout of tennis elbow stirred up by an over-enthusiastic game of cricket with the children. One product, two jobs, no fuss. The sleeve is seamless, so I can still shuffle pans round the hob or referee homework without drips running down my arm. Stitching is neat, the fabric seems tough and the level of compression feels just right, supportive but never strangling the circulation. All in all, it is a simple bit of kit that does exactly what it promises.

I recently purchased the 2 Pack Gel Ice Packs for Injuries, and I’m really impressed with their performance. These packs have become my go-to solution for managing aches and injuries! Quality and Design: The gel packs are well-made and durable. They have a nice, flexible design that conforms easily to different body parts, whether it’s my knee after a workout or a sprained ankle. The outer fabric feels soft against the skin, which is a nice touch. Effective Cold Therapy: I was amazed at how quickly these packs freeze and how long they stay cold. After about 2 hours in the freezer, they provide excellent cold therapy that helps reduce swelling and numb pain effectively. I’ve found them to be incredibly soothing after a long day or after intense exercise. Versatile Use: These ice packs are versatile enough to be used for a variety of injuries—muscle strains, headaches, or just general soreness. They work well both for injury treatment and for just cooling down on a hot day. Easy to Store: The packs come in a compact size, making them easy to store in the freezer without taking up too much space. Plus, having two packs means I can always have one ready to go while the other is in the freezer. Value for Money: For the price, these gel ice packs are an excellent value. The quality and effectiveness far exceed what I expected at this price point. Overall, I highly recommend the 2 Pack Gel Ice Packs for anyone looking for effective cold therapy for injuries. They’re reliable, convenient, and have made a noticeable difference in my recovery process!
