Got this for my daughter's 1/2 violin. It is easily installed and has helped my daughter greatly with positioning her pinky and getting a more comfortable bow grip.This is our second one because when my daughter broke her first bow, she forgot to take this thing off and it got thrown away but it's been so instrumental (pun intended) in helping her learn to play, we bought a second one.

works great for keeping my pinkie in place, but nearly $20 for little more than a pencil eraser seems a bit high. It fits my bow and works so I guess that's all that matters.

My 4-year old child just started playing the violin and our teacher recommended that we get this to help with correct bow-holding. It is easy to use and does what it is supposed to do. It helps my child keep their pinky curved the right way when holding the bow. I like that there are different colors to choose from. While this is a helpful product, I wish it only cost about $5. Because it is really just a small piece of molded rubber.

I have a problem with my pinky where the muscles tends to snap between positions and none of them are the one I need for holding a violin bow. My problem was more a matter of not being able to physically form my finger into the right position than needing something to show me what that position was.This little fish has been a miracle worker. I don't get cramps from forcing my hand into positions it just can't maintain so I'm able to practice longer (and more correctly).

Daughter's violin teacher suggested this to my daughter to fix her pinky posture. However my daughter hated it. She ended up fixing by herself in order not to use this thing. So now sure how this really works.

The bow hold is perfect. It helps my son keep the right position without having to worry too much about it. He lost it at school and this was a replacement, It took me about 4months to bit the bullet and buy it. I think it is way too expensive, but It fulfils it purpose wonderfully, so much so I did buy it again— It works really well

My daughter’s pinkie always has a problem, it is always too tight, not bendy. This fishy bow holder does force her pinkie to a right position. However she seems to get too overly relied on it, without it she could use her bow properly anymore. Also it’s a bit costly.

Really helps to keeps my little finger in the right place and bent. Especially useful if you have stiff joints as I do.

Great little aid to help keep pinky in correct place on violin bow. I found it very pricey for what it is, but still a great product.
