VI Peel Single Kit by VI Aesthetics

This peel is awesome. I have been doing it for about 3 years. Here are some tips: First of all, do it yourself. Do not go to a spa or dr. or anesthitician because it just costs a lot more and you can do what they do. If you have severely sensitive skin, then beware as this peel can be a deep experience. If you know your skin well and what it can tolerate, go for it. Expect some down time of about 3 days during the peeling time. Sometimes the kits come with no gloves, so have some gloves from your hair color kit, or buy some, or use kitchen gloves. Follow the instructions. Keep peel on for as long as possible. I do it at night, then go to sleep with a towel on my pillow and wear an old t shirt as the peel is orangey brown and can stain clothing or sheets. The first night you should feel ok. Then after washing it off the next morning, your face will seem a bit stiff and dry. Following the package instructions now after the first wash. Around day 3 you will start to peel. I even do my neck and chest and that for me peels later, but soon after the face starts. When the peeling starts, this is when your face may seem a bit raw and itchy. At night it can be hard to sleep, so I just take some benydryl and I don't itch while sleeping. Beware though that if you need to be up early, you might be drowsy. I only need the benydryl for two nights. Definitely use the post peel cream and the sunscreen. Your face begins to peel and you are very sensitive to the sun, so becareful. A lot will ooze out of your pores as you peel and your skin feels cleaner. I do this peel about every 4 months maybe sooner, but too soon gives you a less result in my opinion, but it is up to you as you can probably do this every 6 to 8 weeks. It is great for acne, scarring, and other issues just remember that you should not pull the peeling skin off yourself as you can pull it off too soon and cause pigment issues. So let is come off slowly, just cut it away if it hangs on your face. For me, the total time until I feel like most of my face has peeled is a total of a week. But the down time days that you look the worst is just 3 days. You can still go out just know that during those 3 days is when during the day your skin flakes off more and more while you are out and may not realize it. Your skin can appear dry, so you the post peel cream and after all is done, definitely do a nice mask and toner, and good moisturizer and sunscreen after all is said and done.

I first had this peel done in an Aesthetician office and it was VERY expensive. I've been buying the VI Peel online and applying it myself for a few years now. WAY cheaper and this peel works! It is painless but you will have some downtime after you complete the peel. I am home for a good 4 days once the peeling starts. Only because I look like a snake shedding its skin. After the peel completes you are left with young looking skin. This is safe to use every 4 to 6 weeks but I only use it about 3 times a year. Tip: Wear gloves when you apply it, your fingers will peel if you don't. AND don't kiss your spouse after application, even just a peck! His lips will peel. :-) I recommend this product for anti-aging and age spots hands down. In regards to the color? My peels have always looked like dark cola before applied.

I went to a local plastic surgeon office to get the VI peel treatment for $225 and had amazing results. I decided to pay this kit and apply it on myself and again I had amazing results. My skin peeled for 7 days and I was left with baby soft skin. I suffer my melasma and i could tell after the vi peel my brown spots are a little lighter. I plan on doing several more peels until my melasma is under control.

Best Peel ever! Dramatic results in one week!

I love VI peel. I originally had a professional administer the peel which becomes costly. I have been doing the peel myself the last couple of years with even better results. All one has to do is follow the directions as stated and do the after care as stipulated and all will be well. I do suggest that one have the first peel or two done in an office under supervision, because one can never know how your skin will react until you receive a peel.

I have had 4 vi peels at a spa dor 250$ each and this peel was amazing ! As Long as you have had one professionally done and know what you are doing and how your skin should react, this is the way to go

The peel itself is great! I couldn't ask for such an expensive peel at a better price! My only upsets are not about the product itself. It's that, it came with gauze and a little cup and EVERYTHING you would need, except gloves. Also, the cleanser it comes with is so small... They give you way more anti-itch cream (which you only need for a day or two) than cleanser (that you need everyday of the peel). Other than those minor problems, they include great instructions and very easy to use and understand for at home use! I plan to buy again!
