The net is durable and I would not call this product cheap at all, very good quality and has held up great for us

Does the net/frame fold up or do you have to take it apart to store?

The frame folds up flat but the legs/arms don't fold in so folded it's the same dimensions but easy enough to slide under a couch or place against a wall. We love the set!
