Didn't hold the bites of my Quacker Parrot and I got minor injuries because of the bites.Not recommended at all for such purpose.

I LOVE these gloves. I work with birds everyday and sometimes have to handle them and I would get bit often. I don’t have to worry about that anymore with these gloves. They’re thick and fit well and work great. They’re worth the price. Perfect for handling parakeets. They’re not stiff.

Helped a little, little teeth can still get though if you’re not careful

I got these gloves hoping to have an easier time of handling one of our small Sun Conure parrots because he can deliver some really hard bites, but they just didn't do the job at all. He can bite right through the material and still draw blood. And he's a smart one, he keeps biting until he feels your skin instead of just the glove edges... These are thin enough that I can't even use them gardening thorny type plants, they go right through the material. I didn't try them right away so time for returning them has elapsed, I'll just have to find some sort of use for them somewhere.

I purchased this glove to handle my pet birds, hoping it would minimize the pain from their bites. While it does provide some level of protection, I found it to be quite thin and not constructed from the best quality material. Despite wearing the glove, I still felt the bites and the pain wasn't fully dulled as I had hoped. The concept is good, but I believe improvements can be made in terms of durability and effectiveness.
