Serious Readers light
Ott light bulbs are world class designed for the purpose of delivering 'pure' white light that has focused wavelength for optimum reading material. This is my 3rd replacement bulb and I will continue to use this product . Ott Lite is 'one of a kind' there is no other of equal performance.

If you are looking at this bulb you know you need it
I did not realize this bulb is only 25W because of the benefit it brings me. Seasonal Affected Disorder is no joke in the wintertime, or states like Washington and Oregon that get a lot of rain. If you are looking at this bulb than you already have an OttLite lamp. This bulb will only work in one of the OttLite lamps. I hated spending $50 a pop to replace a light bulb. I did this twice because I destroyed the bulb twice. However, I was not happy with out my light for three weeks. If you have similar issues like (SAD), it’s a no brainer to replace your bulb ASAP.

Why didn’t they just make the lamps to use the screw in bulbs.
Hard to find a replacement bulb with plug in type bulb. Now you can find screw in ott light bulbs. Eventually I’m sure we will have to buy new floor lamps. These cost $150.

Direct replacement, much easier than trying to source locally!
Value for the money could be better as these are expensive bulb types, however quality is great and this was the cheapest, I could find for my specific lamp.

Absurdly expensive
Works great, but price is outrageous. Other on line retailers have the same design for much lower price.

Just What I Needed
I was hesitant to order a light bulb for delivery, but OttLite packaged it to make it to my door unharmed. A box within a box, within a padded envelope. The only thing that might have broken it would be a stomp. Perfect fit in my lamp. Let there be light.

We inherited a lamp that uses this bulb. The old bulb which was a 20 watt equivalent, got bumped and quit working. Couldn't find a place in town that sold them (without a long drive, out of our way...) so had a look on Amazon -- found them. Ordered the 25 watt equivalent and swapped it out in about 30 seconds. Super easy, and a nice white-light, rather than the yellowish as from some fluorescent lighting. We have Am.Prime and it was here in one day. Very, very happy...!!!

This is a specialized plug-in light bulb that I couldn't find anywhere but Amazon had it. The price was right, it arrived on time, in good condition and it works perfectly.

My 93 year old husband was having problems reading with his old lamp. He said it was too dark to read comfortably. I bought him on Ott lamp and had no more complaints. Very bright light!

My wife says it is a life saver. It allows her to do things she enjoys because she can see much better with light these bulbs emit. Much brighter than the original bulb that came with the light.
