I switched to this guy from a boom mic and this is significantly sturdier than any boom mic stand I had used before. The isolators work very well and even though I have dogs barking in the background it helps to keep them out of the recording.My only complaint is that it’s not the most versatile alignment for everything. It works great with my vocal mic, but if I try to use my Shure SM57 for example, the cable is blocked by the isolater foam. It’s definitely intended for a microphone to sit parallel to the isolater and does not allow for much other angles.

For the price I was expecting some of more important components to be plastic. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality metal parts. Very sturdy with enough weight to feel confident my mic won't fall.

I couldn't even fully set it up. On of the bars that are supposed to be for extra height arrived not only stripped but also the complete wrong size!!The stand also came loose and when putting everything together one of the tripod legs snapped as well as the adjustable piece completely came off the pole.Absolute garbage for your dollar, Id stay far away from this trash as it shouldn't even be on amazon!Getting an instant return on this trash and if they try to deny it ill get my money back via my bank!

It is smaller than I thought it would but I’m sure it’ll get the job done. I haven’t used it yet so we will see about sound quality at another time.

I really like the size for the price and the sound barriers are amazing.
