This is no way Kerala cotton! Short-fiber shrinking material; doubt if it's cotton!
I am sorry to say that this was the worst thorthu that I have ever used! I was looking for unbleached Kerala thorthu on Amazon as I had ordered fantastic unbleached towels from Amazon a few years back. I am unable to recollect the name but I think it was Kraft Unbleached Cotton Side Stitched Bath Towel. Unfortunately, this has been unavailable on Amazon for a very long time. So, I ended up choosing mylooms, which I thought, was the best among what was available on Amazon. To my disbelief, the thorthu came out to be the worst that I have ever used. Don't believe me blindly. Just try this with these towels--wet the towel and wipe your bathroom mirror. After the mirror dries completely, you will be shocked to see short fibers of cotton sticking all over the mirror. Use of such short-fiber materials for a prolonged period of time on kids and elders can even cause lung disease in them. Such ridiculous quality, I hated my instincts!
