Does what it says on tin. Very sturdy & helpful, the clamp has to be tightened well onto a table so as not to move or slip. Keeps my very active cockapoo in one place whilst I brush her.

Received well packaged and on time . The product is of good quality and easy to assemble except the clamp is somewhat not universal and needs a lot of space to clamp onto a solid table etc. Fortunately I have a lower seating that allows me to clamp onto the wide oak arms and with the long extension pole was able to fix it in place. However, I am disappointed with the set up as the haunch slings are not very practical to use either. Firstly the dog's hind quarters has to be lifted into the sling as is the same with the front sling before they could be adjusted which is a bit disconcerting for the dog. It would have been much easier to have had a sling that passes freely under the dog and clips above. Also with the grooming sling the same applies not easy to adjust whilst the dog has it around its neck which is the only way you can assess the right length. However, I will look to find alternative easier grooming straps to use as the actual stand is very sturdy but my dog is a small toy poodle so don't really know whether it would be more proficient with a bigger dog or not. Hope this helps anyone looking at this item to purchase.

It works well for my small Pomeranians. Easy to install and dismantle for storage. Will definitely recommend.

Helps a bit, but could do with being a few inches taller, and not enough variation in the length of the restraints

I have recently started grooming my mums dog (cocker spaniel) and this has come in really handy. Easy to build and good quality fittings, the arm is sturdy and offers so much safety now as the dog is kept in place and you don’t need a second person to hold him the whole time. Product weight is good, feels sturdy in your hands. Functionality overall is great and it’s sped up the time spent on the groom, we just dismantle it after use for easy storage.

The grooming arm is ideal for small dogs like ours. We have a cockapoo. If you're thinking of buying check the heights. It's good for restricting movement.

My cockerpoo has a very tangly coat. She hates going to a professional groomer, so I decided to try DIY! Not easy !!! However… this device screwed to a well padded and towel covered table serves to restrain her to a degree making the task easier. She still wriggles of course but she is not looking quite as bad as the border collie in the Specsaver’s TV ad! It is strongly made of enamelled steel and is easily adjusted to vary the height. A useful piece of kit at a reasonable price.

I have an 8 year old male 20 lb. Shih Tzu / Border Terrier who simply hates being groomed. Being an odd combination of breeds, he has a unusual coat of fur, party fluffy like a Shih Tzu, part bristly like a Border Terrier. In the past, when we've take him to the dog groomer, he comes out looking like a clown dog, looking neither like a Shih Tzu or Border Terrier, and usually creating the reaction of "What the hell kind of dog is that?" So my wife and I groom our little guy ourselves, much to his dislike. We used to trim him on our backyard patio, but at every opportunity, he was twisting and turning, and trying to escape. It got to the point where I hold my dog in a head lock while my wife shaved his fur with a Wahl pet-version trimmer. Enter the Urban Deco Pet Grooming Arm. His last two haircuts has been a breeze because he's effectively strapped in and suspended to the point where he can't make paws to table contact. In fact, I mounted the arm on a 4' x 3' x 1/2" piece of plywood which sits on a small folding table so now my wife and I can sit while we groom our dog. He stays calm, he doesn't struggle, and he is now well behaved through his entire haircut. Before, cutting my dogs hair was a 4 handed job, with all 4 hands holding down the dog. Now, with the grooming arm, one person can cut my dog's hair while the other person handles the vacuum cleaner. I have some slight, but very minor issues with the Urban Deco Pet Grooming Arm. My dog is only 20 lbs, but he is agile and athletic and he could not escape the grooming arm. However, the arm is not made of very thick gauge metal, and I think a 30 lb or more dog with powerful legs could probably stress the arm and/or the clamp base. Also the original straps provided with the arm were bit cheap, made of thin nylon webbing. The original straps might sufficient for lighter dogs, but I had better straps stored away in our box of doggie junk, so I used my own straps. Overall, I am giving this 5 stars because it effectively eliminated the agony of giving my dog a haircut. It's probably the best pet related item I've bought in several years.

Great product, very easy to set up, clear instructions on how to set up but it's pretty basic if your used to building things if not the pamphlet helps alot. Make sure your grooming ropes are ser up the right way to make you furbabies ad comfortable as possible. 10 out of 10 I would 100 percent recommend! Huge money saver which is a big bonus no more groomers appointments. Make sure you know how to groom your animal properly especially when using clippers or shears they have spot that if you nic it will end up being a very sad day so do your do diligence and study before you impulsively try grooming your beloved furbabies. But this product is amazing my dog is so calm in it when we have to trim her hair. Amazing amazing product. Thank you!!
