Q: What is the trick to getting the pumps to open? I keep spinning them but nothing happens.

So I was having the same issue...unscrew the pump. Just at the top of the stem is a white cylindrical "doodad" use a pair of pliers and grasp it to prevent rotation. Now twist the top of the pump and it will pop out. I can even lock it closed this way and turning it the opposite direction.

Q: My hair's naturally wavy, is it too heavy to pull out the waves?

The shampoo would be fine. My hair is a little wavy and as long as I don't use a lot of the conditioner or leave it on a long time, it doesn't affect any wave. But my hair is also very fine, so that may affect how it impacts my hair.

Q: Is there a way to buy just the shampoo or conditioner by itself?

Yes...they do have the Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner separate...but, price is higher.
