Soft and lightweight

Great product! I didn't even know things like this existed until this winter cold set in and so went searching for solutions like an "indoor poncho". This is the third product I bought trying to find the right thing. First I got a microfiber thing people use at the beach to change under, which is fine but not warm enough, then I got a fleece lined one with sleeves that is awesome but slightly too warm and has a weird oily texture, and finally this which is perfect. It's perfectly light-weight so it doesn't feel heavy walking in it and it doesn't feel bulky behind/under you when you're sitting, but because it's microfiber it still retains body heat extremely well so it's very cozy. The fact that it's a poncho style (I got the one with the round neck, but I might get one with a hood too) instead of something you zip into like a coat is it's best asset because it makes temperature regulation so convenient. If you get too warm, just pull it aside and if you want to be warmer just move your arms under it. It's also ideal to not have sleeves in the way if you're sitting at a desk, which is where I spend a lot of time on the computer. I don't write a lot of reviews but I was sitting here in it and realized how much I was enjoying it so I wanted to give it props! I do wish it was longer in the back but it's really a non-issue because the front does all the work as a blanket when seated. I'm 5'11 and the front comes to just above my ankles, the back to just below the back of my knee. I didn't think I'd care whether it had a pocket but it actually has proved useful a couple of times, and it's design keeps things from falling out so it's inclusion is a bonus.

Comfy. Perfect weight for those times where it is too cold inside, but the person who is in charge of the thermostat is hot..... Was able to write and read and eat while wearing without issues

Extremely warm and snuggly

One of my favorite purchases...like ever! I was considering the brand name version of this (Throwbee) since my little kids had them but I was looking to save a buck (or 10). This one is fantastic and just as soft as the original. It washes well - which is great since I basically live in this thing. It came nicely bundled with a ribbon around it and a gift tag. Definitely a potential gift for some folks in the future. There is really only difference between this and the original. The metal snaps on this item are not as securely attached as in the original. For me, this is of little consequence, since I rarely use the snaps anyway. My only other critique is that they should make this longer in the back. I’m still giving it 5 stars for the sheer value and comfort of it! Definitely worth the $20!

So soft. Really warm. Easy to move in. Love it so much!

Bought this for our daughter that’s 11 years old and 4’8”. She’s very into soft, oversized and comfy things right now. This checks all the boxes! It’s basically a huge, wearable blanket with a hoodie pocket, which is handy. Since she’s only 4’8”, it’s barely off the floor when she walks, so it could be a trip hazard for younger kids. But overall, she loves it! I recommend buying 2, because your child will live in it, and not want to take it off so you can wash it.
