Yes it is the actual front glass cover and it is glass and it comes with everything you need to put it together but it does not come with the back piece it's the front peace only so if you break the front dual screen it is the actual replacement and it's easy as long as you follow instructions put on looks like it's never been broke I hope this helps

It's the same glass as the original back. I have no doubt that if it is installed properly, it maintains IP68 water resistance (the phone never was waterPROOF).
