The biogel does exactly what the description says it does. It says frozen in the canaster under normal conditions. It melts a little faster when container is left outside. In extreme heat. The canister with biogel is light, easy to carry and solves a myriad of issues.

I have owned 3 after market cooling inserts like this one, and over time the canal where insulin sticks are supposed to fit and rest tends to end up with a bubble or a bump in the middle of the canal and after that the insulin won't fit correctly. **I used this product to go on a 16 day cruise to Europe** This product held up to anything I could throw at it. It's a must buy. If you can over look that bubble issue in the groove, then you're golden.

Product kept my insulin pens cool for over 48 hours. The only down fall was customs took it from me and wouldn't allow it to travel back to the United States from Dublin, Ireland. I was really upset that it had made the journey with my insulin pens from Florida to London, to Scotland, to Ireland then to have it taken away was the pits. They said it was because the insulin pens had been used and the container was empty. I think they just wanted a cooler pack...

This was purchased to be an extra cooler for my unit. As shown in the photo, it is smaller than the cooler that came with my container. While the three pens I use definitely fit with room to spare, it obviously will not last as long. I can't find any information on how long this new cooler is rated for.

I like the product but not the price.

Much smaller than expected and not the size that comes in the original diabetic med cooler. Annoying
