Good quality. Not thin and cheap but nut super heavy duty. A nice satin finish with no mold lines or pitting. My only complaint is that the screws are a little on the light weight side. Otherwise worth the price.

If I could give these zero stars I would. The folding position will only line up by force. There is a full 1/4" play in each hinge. I spent a stupid long time building the routing jig and chiseling out for the hinge. I felt great until I opened and shut the drawer front. SAVE YOURSELF!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

I keep looking up locking bachelors hinges. I ke we p getting non locking hinges that look the same but don't lock. When I search locking hinges they mix the results which is confusing.

A moderately skilled person can place flush the leaves of a ‘butler table’ with these ( edge to edge) ; or allow a uniform gap between edges with only simple skill level between table and leaf [ just be sure you place the hinges “square” such that hing edges are parallel to each other] . In my case I’ll simply ( I have good skill) make a small, narrow, shallow, cut out on the very edges of leaf/ table and flush the leaves to table; but in my case, I will not sink the hinges to be flush as to horizontal plan of leaves or table . I’m actually making a wooden case for my electric piano. Good luck all , with the above info and understanding of butler hinges you will love these!

I’m making a cabinet with double door and thought to use normal hinges but there was some gap, so went with these to flush mount and now there is no gap and looks like single door until open it as double door.

Works great, used 2 of these to make a travel crib board. I’m no wood worker so it took some time to create the pockets for the hinges to fit into. The project is not quite finished but will update when it is. They fold out flat which is exactly what I wanted.

What to do 3 screws do have the star groove to screw into.... what can I do? Order 3 screws. Not happy!

This item is not solid brass, its made of a lightweigh, soft alloy that is brass plated. Seller sent a return label that can't be printed due to expired credentials, and seeks me to pay return postage for a falesly advertised item. STAY AWAY!
