Mostly good, very good for the money.
Works and seems strong. One flaw, as mentioned in some other reviews, of there odd and tension on the latch, it doesn’t release. Since it’s residential use, that’s ok. We have learned to pull the door slightly after activating to let the latch release, and then push to open.

Cheap and wonderful although a little underpowered
The latch required a little extra work to fit in the door frame but just light work with a chisel and hammer. I had hoped that the latch would allow for an easy push open but because the door is tight (for good weatherproofing) you need to pull the handle before pushing the door open. The electronic latch just isn't strong enough to overcome the tight door.

Don't modify your door mortise until you test the unit!
Learn from my mistake, and test before you begin your install. This is a large door strike, and it will most likely require you to modify existing door mortise larger. After spending considerable amount of time chiseling the frame to fit this door strike... the unit doesn't work. When power is applied, the latch will not release. Even with no tension, completely removed from door frame. Irritating af.Now I must decide if I want to deal with exchange, or ordering a new strike--which will most likely require a much smaller mortise.

Very weak unlatching solinoid.
Even the slightest pressure on the latch before it is powered and it will not release when powered.VERY weak.Very disappointing.
