If you want to put 10 --20" units together where do you get a transformer large enough to handle this size load?

Can you bypass the motion sensor to control lights with switched outlet ?

Yes I have one side plugged into a smart plug and turns on and off with my Kasa app. I have had these lights for several years and they're great. The way my kitchen is set up, my sink is in the middle. So half the unit is on one side and I use that with the motion sensor, and on the other side it is on the smart plug, I had another compatible adapter/plug lying around so that's why I could break them up that way.

does the motion turn all of them on or just the one your waving your hand under

We have 3 sets - one has one light, one has two lights, one has three lights, and in each case there is only one sensor to the set (there may be options to connect lights that each have their own sensor but that is not what we installed here). When we wave a hand (or spatula or coffee cup) under a sensor, it turns on ALL of the lights that are connected to that sensor by wires, but not the lights that are across the kitchen as a part of another set that is not connected to that specific sensor by wires.

Can you mix and match different size bars in the same strand? I need 12” connected to a 7”

Yes, sure, all of our 12V lights are compatible and interchangeable. Do not overload power supply, follow our wattage consumption chart: 7"- 2W+-10% 12"- 3W+-10% 20" - 5W+-10% 40" - 10W+-10% Make sure total sum of wattage in your system does not go over of your power supply capacity. Please note, that only one LED light with sensor in a chain. It controls the on/off and dimming functions of the entire line of lights.
