Q: What is the difference with the braun 912 and braun 853? How long does de epilator lasts? Does the epilator need to be changed every few months ?

Braun 911 is rechargeable, I haven’t tried this model yet. The Braun 853 requires batteries and and eats batteries, there is not enough battery strength even with a new battery for the facial cleanser brushes to work effectively. It’s struggles at best. I have a facial cleanser tool from a different company that out preforms the Braun 853 and 851 100%. Also, I have gone through two Braun 853 and 851 models and they each lasted less than one year using once a month. I do not recommend the 853 or 851 model based on durability and struggles as a facial cleanser and high use age of expensive Duracell batteries. Perhaps the rechargeable model will preform better. However, if they haven’t improved the design of the epilator head then that is a problem, because the wires inside the head break apart into pieces and the epilator head quits working! I would definitely recommend purchasing an extended warranty, and purchase the rechargeable model.

Q: Does it work for peach fuzz? Or on very fine short facial hair?

yes! works perfectly on fuzz, fine short, long,any kind of facial hair.

Q: Can it be used on the bikini area?

Our Braun Face Epilator FaceSpa Pro 911 was designed specifically for the facial area and you may not get the same results while using it on the bikini area. - The Braun Team

100-240V - Braun are typically dual voltage which is why I love them!
