I'll have to admit, when I opened the package and saw the Subterra, I didn't have very high expectations. But I was wrong! This thing is awesome. I thought the compression plate was a gimmick, but it really helps to pack things down. And the wheels are great and roll very smoothly. I can literally push with one finger. If I could change one thing, it would be to put the button to collapse the handle on top of the handle instead of the sides. One the side, it catches on my eBags backpack when sliding it over the handle. Takes a little extra effort to get it off. But this bad is so much better than my old Samsonite I'm willing to live with it. Highly recommend!

honestly, it took me over a week reading review after review (and going into stores) on so many brands of carry-ons and deciding price points rather than aesthetics. Since I planned a "short" "backpack" trip to Spain, France, and Italy. This carry-on was lightweight and jammed-packed neatly with clothes!!! I'm very stylish yet considerate of the climate so I made sure to have all my essentials. I recommended this same carry-on to my boyfriend because of how masculine it looks and how much you can pack. The suppression board that goes in the middle helps reduce the bulkiness once you pack your things. Overall its amazing on the wheels too. I walked (believe me when I say walked) on all cobblestones and concrete throughout my trip to europe. Here are just a few pics i found from my trip with my Thule peeking through. No scratches and never got dirty throughout my trip.
