Very durable steel plates great for storing seed phrase.

The sheets are very simple and a simple solution for storing seed phrases. Good value for the price tag.

I purchased a set of engraver tips for my dremel with this item. Your seed phrase of 12 or 24 words in a specific order are the only thing that will restore your wallet if you forget your password and you will lose all the crypto you had in that wallet. With the word seed phrase, you can restore your wallet withing a couple of minutes. These plates are made of quality aluminum and once the words are engraved on them, they will last a very long time. I keep mine in my safe but they can be put in your wallet also if you need to take them on the go. I would highly recommend everyone who has a crypto wallet with crypto inside to have one of these for each wallet so you can never get locked out and lose your investment.

It was exactly what I thought it was plus more. You get the 2 plates that are laser engraved for your pass words and the top plates were exactly the same Lazer engraving. You get 4 plates that you can engrave if you want to plus the hardware to bolt them closed too.

The black plates are not steel, they are aluminum. Aluminum melts at less than half the temperature as steel and it would not survive a house fire. I have bought the steel plates before (the silver color plates) and they are fantastic, they do the job well and great quality, but not the black plates.

The black plates look and feel like anodized aluminum.Not a huge problem, just not as fire resistant as the 304 Stainless.
