Good generator, no issues at all. Kind of heavy.
Pretty damn good genny. Runs on propane, isn't insanely loud, and can run just about anything you might want in a travel trailer. Has no problem running my air compressor. Charges my lithium house batteries in about 2.5 hours (400ah). It's not light, over 100lbs, so probably a team lift for most people, but manageable for me. Overall, very happy with it.

Easy start, quiet performance, and great mobility
This generator has performed exceptionally well. Easy starting and flexibility with fuel of gas or propane. Use it in my farming operation and easily loaded in the back of pickup for mobile use. Also used it for a family wedding to provide electricity for music. Very pleased with the low noise of the generator. Remote start up a real plus!

Incredible!
*Detailed Review* We wanted a generator to primarily support our cruiser boat (30A plug) while out on the ‘hook’ overnight aka not connected to shore power. We were MORE than impressed by the power and efficiency this unit has. We purchased the 4000, dual fuel, remote start and all I can say is WOW! USE: The remote start / stop is a game changer for our use. We keep it on our swim platform, 20 or so feet from our cabin interior. It simultaneously powers our boats aircon or heat, stovetop, TV, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, and all other boat features (lights, water pumps, etc) simultaneously SEE VIDEO. We can start it and stop it from the comfort of our bed without having to get up when it’s cooled down / heated up inside. In the video you can hear it in the background outside the cabin, but you can tell it is not too loud as we aren’t trying to talk loud over it running. UTILITY: The machine weighs in the 60# range if I remember correctly, which makes it very portable for my husband. For those of us less strong, it has a nice pullout handle feature, which enables it to be pulled or pushed around with ease. So far we have only used the gasoline fuel but wanted both gas + propane for any reason one or the other may be unavailable. I also wanted to mention the auto off CO detection feature we inadvertently found out about- while the unit was mounted and secured to our swim platform, we needed to move the boat slowly 10’ or so. As such, when we turned the boat off after the move, we realized that the unit was off. We surmised the exhaust from the boat, directly under the unit, was enough to engage the generators CO sensor and turn it off. And that was an incredible feature we did not know it possessed. This feature is obviously for if the generator itself produces then is stagnant of CO, a safety shut off feature. EFFICIENCY: While out on the hook, we can run it at normal (non efficiency mode) for 8 hours on and off a day, 3-4 days of the week and maybe only go through 2.5-3gallons of fuel. My most appreciative use was during hurricane Milton over this fall. While we had intended it for boat use, it came in handy when we went down to check on our other home. During the power outage, we had the house refrigerator, the lanai refrigerator, TV, many cell phones etc, all plugged in , for 14 solid hours and maybe burned through 5 gallons of gasoline on the efficient mode. As you can see, we are more than pleased with this Westinghouse unit and would recommend it.

This little powerhouse just runs and does what it should! Good controls board with a light!
The generator is good and works, however the starter on one generator does not start the generator about 75% of the time and the new one did the same thing after a few starts. The starter will eventually work and for that I am only giving 4 stars because it wont let me give it 4.5. Noise level is decent and on par with many other low noise units. Lighter and easy to move for sure. Side panels could be a little more secure, they tend to vibrate some and the wheels need to be on the ground or they will make noise.

Quiet as a Church Mouse and Easy as Pie for This 70-Year-Old Barrel Racer
I’m a 70-year-old Texas gal still kickin’ up dust in the barrel racin’ circuit, haulin’ my horses to every arena from here to kingdom come. Needed a generator for my horse trailer to keep that AC unit hummin’ on scorching days, but it had to be quiet enough not to rile my mare and easy enough for these old hands to fire up. Well, the Westinghouse 5000 Peak Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator is like findin’ a good gelding: reliable, gentle, and just what I needed. This thing starts with a button push, smooth as butter, no yankin’ cords like I’m ropin’ a steer. That little remote fob’s my favorite; I can turn it on from inside the trailer while I’m fussin’ with hay nets. Quiet? Lordy, it’s softer than a whisper in the barn, lettin’ me visit with folks or let the horses nap without wakin’ the whole campsite. Weighs about 100 pounds, but with them wheels and a handle, I can roll it around the hitch on my own, even on lumpy ground. Runs on gas or propane, whichever’s handy, and stretches a tank near 14 hours, keepin’ the AC cool as a cucumber all night. Plugs right into the trailer’s RV outlet, no messin’ with adapters, and takes that AC’s big startup jolt like it ain’t nothin’, then settles down to 3900 watts to keep us comfy. That CO sensor’s a blessin’ for safety ‘round the horses, and I love them USB ports for chargin’ my phone to check race times. Got 25 hours on it now, from sweaty rodeos to chilly hill country stops, and it’s never let me down. For an old cowgirl like me, this Westinghouse is as good as a cold sweet tea on a hot day. If you’re lookin’ for power that’s quiet and easy to start, this one’s your huckleberry. Pure gold!

Great Inverter-Generator for the Price
The generator arrived on the day promised on an Amazon delivery truck. It was packed in a sturdy box which showed no damage. It was completely assembled and fairly heavy, about 100 pounds. It came with a nicely printed documentation package which included a replacement parts list. There was a box of accessories which included a quart of oil, a funnel to pour the oil into the unit, and a pouch of tools. My unit was made in Vietnam. I put oil into the unit using the funnel, which is pretty much required to get oil into the crankcase. It took about 75% of the quart to get 2/3 of the way up the dip stick. I fueled it with 87 octane ethanol free gasoline. I flipped the ON switch, fully choked it, and started pulling the starting rope. It took a total of 12 pulls to start it. At around pull 8, it putted a time or two. I pulled it a couple more times before moving the choke to 1/2. It then started on the second pull. It would probably have started sooner had I reduced the choke after the first putt. After running a while, I stopped it and tried to restart it. It starts best with some choke applied even when it is warm. It runs at a very low noise level. Its noise level is about the same as another generator I have that is less than half the power output. The data center provides some good information such as fuel level, runtime, and output load. I ran it for about an hour, never loading it above 1 KW. The break-in period is 5 hours at no more than 50% load. It ran well and supplied all the loads I tried just fine. I expect that it will provide years of reliable service. Also, Westinghouse has a very good website to support its products, including this unit.

Perfect size, quiet and good value for the money.
I did some research on an affordable portable emergency generator for power outages here in Texas and decided on this westinghourse igen40000DFc. Good choice! It was extremely easy to set up and I love the eay to open plasstic side panel access. As far as the weight, I am almost 80 years old and I can lift it. Also, it has a handle similar to your suitcase that allows for moving it to where you want to use it.
