After awhile coffee gets boring, hence my need to try something new. While I was disappointed the box was bashed up, the coffee was fine and I find it a delicious change up. Stronger than my usual, but not bitter. I like it best when I make a 10 oz cup. I only drink coffee in the a.m. found this a good wake me up in both smell and taste.

I'm comparing this to Illy, Lavazza, and Starbucks pods and compared to those, it costs less, there is more coffee in each pod, and it tastes stronger. It's the best bang for the buck I've found so far for kcups simply because of how much coffee is in each pod. I've gone through probably 240 pods this year alone.

Update: While I did enjoy the taste of this coffee, I won't be buying it again. If you suffer from acid reflux or GERD, this coffee will cause you a great deal of discomfort. The stomach/esophageal discomfort I felt was so bad, I was starting to think the worst. I had surgery for pancreatic cancer almost 6 years ago, and I was starting to think it came back. I feel so much better since I stopped drinking this coffee. Do your stomach a favor and buy something else.I got tired of my French Press and pour over, so I decided to put my Keurig back to work. Descaled it and was using the reusable filter and holder, but got bored and decided to try this coffee.First impression from first couple of cups was that it was pretty good. Then I had trouble with a kcup. It failed and I had to clean up the mess. I didn’t hold that against it and tried another one, which was fine. But then, I came across a kcup that didn’t let all the water drip through and I got less than 10 oz of coffee. Noticeably less. Happened twice so far. So, some of the kcups work perfectly, and some don’t.I’ve used 6 and it’s been 50-50 As long as I don’t have to clean up any more messes with the remaining cups, I don’t mind so much about the pods that don’t give me the right amount of coffee, especially because they’re recyclable. For me, that makes up for it.

I read a review that said Ethiopian coffee was the number one pick of roasters in the world. It is good and I enjoyed it and has a unique flavor, but I still think I prefer Colombian.

The coffee is fantastic - my husband’s favorite. No issues in our Keurig. Rating for the coffee itself is 5 stars. My issue is with the Amazon fulfillment/shipping. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I have purchased the 4 pack (96 k cups) twice now and both times I was only shipped 1 box of 24 k cups. Completely frustrating. I will go back to buying single boxes now, not anything labeled “4 pack” as they clearly can’t get it right. It’s a shame because the price is way better perK cup when buying 4 boxes as opposed to 1. Maybe they’ll correct this shipping problem in the future but I don’t want to chance it again.4/14/22 Update - I ordered 1 box of 24 k cups that arrived in a plastic shipping bag, not a box. Inside, the coffee box was destroyed and k cups and coffee grounds were all over the shipping bag. K cups were damaged and opened during shipping. I’m done. I guess I can’t order this coffee from Amazon anymore. This has been 3 bad experiences in a row. I noticed today’s package was delivered by UPS. I’m downgrading to 1 star. Good luck to others. I’ll order direct from the company going forward.

The coffee is fine. Not wonderful, but fine. The stupid pods, however, are so tough that I have to slam the top of my Keurig to get the little pointy thing to penetrate the bottom of the pod. If the puncture fails to happen, a big mess occurs and I do not tolerate mess before my first cup of coffee.

Love this coffee. Hope to order more soon.

If you love Barrie House Blend Extra Bold as much as I do, you'd better stock up now. Just learned that Barrie House has gone out of business. Just when I find the perfect coffee pod! Their website no longer works but this an announcement I saw on the web: "After over 90 years of crafting exceptional coffee and serving our community, we have made the heartfelt decision to close Barrie House Coffee Company as we embrace retirement. Effective February 2025, our doors will close as we bid farewell to this incredible chapter."
