Unfortunately this didn't work on our Logitech system

Works, but not as good as Logitech receiver...
Sound using this unit + Z5500 sub + speakers is not as good as for my other Z5500 system that has the original Logitech receiver. Also, speaker cables (green, brown, black) did not coincide with outputs of my Soundblaster Audigy PCIe soundcard, had to switch green and black cables from soundcard to control pod to get the subwoofer to work. Kind of a hassle. Finally, knobs are very sensitive, tuning in the right levels for front, center, sub, and surround speakers is very tricky - sound is not true as when played in my car's stereo or my Hi-Fi system downstairs. It works, but it's not perfect.

Severly lacking in original sound quality.
Purchased to replace the original controller. Only has the 1/8" inputs (obviously from the picture). That was not the problem. The surround speaker level would not go nearly high enough. Absolutely no bass. Overall the sound was very thin. This control made the awesomeness of the z-5500 disappear.
