Best socks made
I was tired of buying cheap packs of socks every couple months only to have them fall apart on me. I read about Darn Tough's lifetime warranty, so I decided to switch my game up and get all Darn Tough socks. That way if they get messed up I can get a new pair free! They take a couple uses to break in, but once you do these socks are incredibly comfortable and well made. I have about 6 pairs now, I figure with a few more pairs I'll be set for life. I highly recommend these socks!

Awesome socks
I love Darn Tough. I ask a lot of my socks; big mile days (+20 miles) in the Cascades, mountaineering, trail running, etc. Very rarely get blisters. A good wash and these come out good as new.

Your feet will thank you!
I never knew how bad my Hanes cotton socks were until I tried on a pair of these. The difference between them is dramatic! These are the most comfortable socks I've ever worn! I wear a size 14 wide in shoes and I ordered the large size. I had previously made the mistake of ordering an XL pair of the boot socks. I didn't make that mistake this time, and they fit so much better. I never thought I'd spend $160 on socks, but I'll never have to buy socks again with the lifetime warranty, and they make such a difference in how my feet feel every day that it was totally worth it! Get yourself some, you won't regret it. So I've had these for a few weeks. Here's what I've learned. It's important that you read the instructions on how to wash them. You need to turn them inside out and do not use fabric softener. I wash mine by themselves on delicate, then hang dry them. If you want to put them in the dryer make sure it's on low. My feet do sweat a little bit in them occasionally, but it's not bad. If you have sweaty feet, you might want to check out the ultra light. The one thing that is annoying is that the fibers lock in every piece of lint. It drives me nuts to have socks with lint all over, so I use a piece of duct tape to get it off before washing. I guess I'm just OCD about it. If I could go back, I'd order the taupe color instead of black. The lint doesn't show up as much on the taupe. That color is sold out everywhere except the other major auction site. I don't know if I can say it's name, but it starts with an E. These socks do start piling after a couple washes, but so far it's not bad. The large are a bit tight on my size 14 feet, but the XL has too much material at the heel. I think my feet stretched them a bit because my brand new socks are much tighter. I just bought two more pairs of the taupe ones, so I definitely still recommend these!

Lightweight.. with cushion!
These are so comfy! It's been a few years since I've treated myself to new socks. These are awesome! Even comfortable with my cowboy boots - because of the cushion in these socks... and they're lightweight, so they keep your feet cool - and the merino keeps them dry!

Worth the money…
Darn Tough Socks (I have two styles), function as you would think. I wear Darn Tough socks in all weather hikes. I just did a five mile hike wearing my Altra Lone Peaks after a snow storm (about 8” or so of snow and walking in the footprints of someone else). My feet got wet but I didn’t notice it until about 2 or so miles in. Then my toe slipped and ended up in the creek. My foot stayed comfortable during this particular hike (an area I hike a few days a week and I am comfortable only wearing wool and trail runners, I have winter boots for more extreme situations). I recommend these socks to everyone. These socks are worth the money. I am slowly replacing all my socks with Darn Tough. Note: my socks range from brand new to a few years old. No issues as of yet and complete confidence that my feet will be comfortable in any weather.
