Don't hold off, buy this if your a woodworker.
Don't hold off, buy this if you're a woodworker. These clamps sit up on their own so it is just not a clamp but a glue table. I place wax paper on top of the bars to keep the glue off of them. These are heavy & very well designed. I ended up getting three sets of the 36" knowing I can glue anything that size and smaller.

5 stars though I was expecting something different
I have several heavy duty Jorgensen clamps I bought several years ago, and was looking for more of the same. I ordered these with those in mind, and was surprised by how low the price was. Well - it turns out that the heavy duty clamps I have are no longer available, and have been replaced by these "medium duty" versions, which are noticeably lighter. In the photo I show them compared to a harbor freight version and my original clamps. The size and weight and strength of the components are in between but closer to the HF version than to the original Jorgensen, which is disappointing. The screw adjustment does have noticeably more travel distance than the HF model. So far, I don't love the way you lock /unlock the clamp head by tilting the handle. I may get used to it but right now I find it awkward. Also the rubber cap on the end piece falls off pretty easily, similar to the HF model. The rubber tips on the older Jorgensen are much more robust and stay in place.Nonetheless I'll give it 5 stars for now since it was clearly marked medium-duty and they seem strong enough for most uses. I'll update this after I've used them for some time. Just be aware that these are quite different than the bar clamps they used to sell.

Great Clamp
Started off with the Pony 1-in black pipe clamps years ago, as most do in the beginning. Have since added these and the F-style to my collection in various lengths. All solid clamps, and are significantly cheaper than the Red Bs. I don’t notice any difference in clamp performance between those and these.

These are great clamps, a bit pricy, but grab them when they are on sale, it's what I did.

Great clamps
Everything about these clamps is awesome. The care in packaging, the clamping pressure, the ease of sliding the head back and forth on the rail…I’m a fanboy og Jorgensen clamps now.
