Excellent product
As an amateur cyclist, I ride my bike around 1 hour every day and I am extremely happy with these shorts! I excellent fit, great material!! I highly recommend it!

I have found these shorts to be very comparable to my high-end name-brand shorts that are similar, without the higher price tag. The material on the Baleaf pair is slightly thinner and maybe just a bit less compressive than my name-brand shorts, but I have not found that to be an issue. The rise is also a just a tad higher in that the top of these shorts hit right at my belly button, while my other shorts hit perhaps 1/2 inch below, but again that does not bother me. So far I have used these shorts for rides up to 40 miles and have actually found the chamois to be a little more comfortable for longer distances than the chamois on my name-brand shorts. I'm not sure if that's due to the contouring or the nature of the padding itself. And so far, the legs on these shorts do not ride up. While my name-brand shorts also have leg grips, I still have to do a leg adjustment at least once or twice during particularly hot/sweaty rides. So far, I haven't had to fiddle with these at all. I do wish they had some sort of pocket (either on the leg or at the back), but it's not a deal breaker since I can stash most of my stuff in my jersey. I needed an extra pair of shorts in my rotation since I usually ride 3-4 times per week and I'm very happy I decided to purchase this pair from Baleaf. While I do own other clothing from this brand, this is the first cycling purchase I've made from the company. I'm 5'1" tall, weigh around 90 pounds, and have a 27" waist and a 32" hip. The XS is a good fit for me. I wash all of my workout clothing with a detergent specifically formulated for exercise gear and I hang my cycling shorts/jerseys to dry. I can't say much about durability so far, but I will update my review if I have any issues in the future.

I did a 200k ride in it and it is comfortable. I can fit my iphone in the side pocket but I can feel it shifts a little if I ride hard. I don't think it will fall out but I'm paranoid so I decided not to keep it in there since I already have a handle mount.

I really, really wanted to like these shorts. When I first tried them on, the pad was extremely uncomfortable. It is too wide between the legs. After reading many reviews, I thought maybe I was just being overly sensitive. And since I really wanted to like these shorts, I took the tags off and tried them on a 22-mile ride. Turns out that the most uncomfortable part was how hard the pad was for cushioning my bottom. I tried them again on a 12-mile ride and they weren't too uncomfortable. But, the third time that I put them on, they no longer had any compression left in them. The legs were kinda lose. They had been washed twice with no softener and hung up to dry. Very disappointed.

These are right length for me with short legs. Padding is well placed and made for comfortable rude. I like the colored piping detail. Very nice. I will order more and the price is right. I’d say they run true to size. I’m petite (5’1”/114lb) but usually wear a medium in biking clothes. I ordered the small, based on comments, and they fit fine.
