Very good purchase for your money! And such a great idea! Bought these for an extended trip to the beach and they did not disappoint. They easily fit in my luggage and once trip was over I simply dumped the sand out and packed them back up. I like them so much and the flexibility of how much weight is incorporated was so nice I continue to use them, even over my metal kettle bells.

This is a great lower-cost alternative to metal kettlebells. Very sturdy and well made. I do wish the handle were a little wider, as the sides rub when you do curls.

The handle should be stiffer . It collapses around the hand when in use. A well built and good idea. I doubt I will be traveling with it however . Most of my destinations don’t come with sand.

These are great. Way cheaper than metal k-bells and they go with me when I go backpacking. I didn't want to tear them up too quickly so when I do my fave move the farmer's carry, I hang them on the ends of a dumbell bar. The bar weighs 5 and each k-bell is filled to 20lb with aquarium gravel. 45lbs gets the job done just fine. At 20lbs I'm sure the k-bells will last a long time. I also hang them on the dumbell bar when doing presses and snatches. I warm up with just one k-bell then finish up routine with the two on the dumbell bar.

Better than iron. Easier to grip. Won't destroy floors. Softer or knees less bruising on my legs.

1 ripped from where it was GLUED together when it was assembled. If it had more overlapping plastic where it was GLUED it wouldn’t have opened up and spilled sand. Good to take on vacation though, used sand only

Was looking for a different option for a kettlebell and came across this onr. Arrived on time and was easy to fill with sand. Works as it should

Wow, I hate to to write this...this is a Five Star product with a fatal flaw!!! Let's look at the good aspects...great construction..very well made. The materials are also high quality and it looks as good in real life as it does in the photo....not essential to it's function, but it is a nice touch. Ok, now to the deal breaker...when this is filled with 20 pounds of sand and you start to swing it around the sides of the handles compress and squeeze you hand in a painful way. The harder it is swung the more it hurts your hand. I tried leaving my pinky finger outside...but..that made it more awkward to use. Let me be clear, if you just pick this up and set it on a table or shelf once, it doesn't hurt. It's when you are swinging it and the handle twists is when it is most painful. This makes doing a rigorous 20 minute workout impossible. The bag comes with a flimsy wrap for the handle, if this had some ridged plastic shaped like a metal kettle bell handle that could be velcro-ed in and kept your hand from being pinched....this would zoom up to five stars!! I am keeping them, I put them in my back pack and do a workout in addition to my sandbag workouts. I would gladly pay more for ridged plastic inserts for this product's handles..
