Good phone great customer service
I had a problem with this order initially, but the people at eDealHunt were quick in their response time to correct my issue, were very friendly, and took my issue seriously. I feel like people at physical stores don't even do that, take the customer seriously that is. If you're looking for something and these guys and or gals are one of the options to buy from you won't go wrong by giving them the business. This is a decent phone, I used to have one but I dropped it too many times and it was no longer repairable. I love the cameras. The display is nice and crisp with vivid colors and sharp lines. I dig that it has NFC, but to me the fact it has an onboard IR blaster makes it stand out from the crowd. That used to be a standard option in a smartphone, I don't know why manufacturers quit utilizing such a universally viable integration. The fingerprint scanner is snappy. This was a flagship phone after all, if you'll remember. The modularity of the phone also makes it interesting although the modules available were somewhat limited. I'd love it if LG would support this and make other modules for the G5, if got a few ideas for some that would be neat.

O/S Setup & Logo Is Verizon - But Verizon Verified It Is Actually "Unlocked"
I'm glad to report the phone I received is actually "Unlocked," as sold. I had to call Verizon to verify that the phone I was sent could be used on other Networks, & they said it is. Safelink also verified the phone can be used with their program by the IMEI code. So even though the O/S set up is a Verizon installation (their apps & tools are pre-loaded) I can use it with any other service provider. This phone arrived with no SIM card. I needed to buy one from Safelink to activate the phone..The physical condition of the phone I received is passable but not great. There are a lot of deep gouges to the Titan gray metal housing, both front & back. I can't imagine what someone did to cause dents & scuffs to a phone that run this deep. Let's hope they happened during the Refurbishing. Thankfully, I can hide many of these damages to the housing with a well-fitting custom phone case. But not all.The Battery module that pops out of the bottom is loose & it barely connects to the rest of the housing. One time, it even popped out on one side on its own. I can't fathom how someone abused this module badly enough to make it have trouble fully connecting. But this issue should have been remedied or replaced during the Refurbishment process. Again, using the phone in a case & not popping the battery out too often will probably remedy this. But the customer shouldn't have to create a work around for a loose battery module. The charger & cable this phone comes with is hard wired to the plug itself & it is not standard USB. Because the cable is hard wired, there is no way to connect this phone to your computer without buying or bringing your own USB cable that has the unique long oval shaped charger end this phone has. The charger also looks well used. The actual screen, however, is perfect. It looks like this may have been what the Refurbishers replaced. The LED screen looks great & it looks & operates like it is brand new. Given this, it will probably run well. For the actual size of the phone, the usable screen space could be bigger, but it is Ok.I like that the Power button is on the back, instead of the side, where I'll constantly press it by mistake. In my opinion, the LG iO/S Interface seems to be trying to imitate the Samsung phone Interface, which I wanted to get away from & never see again. If I wanted a Samsung phone, I'd have bought one. I really was looking forward to the standard simple LG O/S format. That said, the Settings menu system is very basic & standard LG simplicity. When I ordered this phone, the price was $119 & my Seller was "LG" - but it was Fulfilled By Amazon & I don't know if this phone was sold by the actual LG Corporation or a 3rd Party Seller naming themselves "LG".If it does not find a way to physically fall apart, it could be a reasonable deal. But I was expecting better quality than this. Your own mileage with what you receive may vary.

Tough and easy to use, Brightness issue
I like this phone a lot. it is great beign able to remove my SIM, memory card, and battery with ease. My one complaint is that these new screens cause me to get blurry vision if I use the phone for more than a few minutes t a time. If i use it to surf or watch vids, i get sustained eye strain for the rest of the day. Adjusting brightness and backlight are not any help. The light from screen is cutting and even at dim it feels like a laser is cutting through my face sometimes, I have this issue with iphones also, so it is something to do with the light from these newer devices. I have even tried a blue blocker screen protector and it did not help.

this G5 was slow out the box then found out GPS did work but the would not refund
First, whenever you go to contacts the AT&T SIM information comes up and you have to back out of that to get into your contactsseconds while talking frequently the phone dialog window shrinks and when it gets minimized the volume goes away and people can't hear you this is annoying cuz you have to stop what you're doing look at the screen maximize it so people can hear you.3rd the speakerphone has poor quality and often people cannot make out what you're saying.Fourth if the battery life is low they did not refresh the battery and renew the battery acting as a phone with a six to the eight-month-old battery you'll need to be replaced in a few monthsAn unsatisfying experience not worth the money I don't know if it was a mild issue or specific phone issue so I can see why somebody sent this back to be renewed

This is an excellent phone, but the refurbished model was not perfect.
This phone was refurbished and had just a few tiny signs of wear, except for the button on the back of it which is the wakeup button. It looked rather worn and it is not as sensitive and responsive as the button on my identical model of this phone. I got this one for my friend, based on how happy I was with mine. I hope that there will be no further deterioration on the responsiveness of the button. UPDATE MAY 2019: THE WAKEUP BUTTON HAS BECOME A BIT ANNOYING DUE TO LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS, AND FOR SOME REASON MY FRIEND HAS SHOWED ME THAT HER PHOTOS ARE BLURRY. HER REFURBISHED ONE WAS JUST NOT AS GOOD AS MY NEW ONE. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT NEW AND WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS.

Excelente Telefono LG G5 renewed
