Bargain!
Needed a laptop urgently and after a lot of research, opted for this one. Light, super fast, stylish and sturdy. Fingerprint reader was a bonus and the battery life is a winner. Perfect for an already overcrowded work bag as it’s not huge at 14”, but no issues with the screen. Love the fact I can divide the screen up to show different applications and programmes at the same time - Power Tools. Bought on sale, so great value. The only thing I would say is the speakers are basic at best. Coming from a HP with B&O speaker quality was a bit of a shock to the system, but apart from that, it’s an agile little workhouse that has taken everything I’ve thrown at it with ease.

Started smoking and had to be thrown away at 19 months
Bought in August 2023, and as of May 2025 It started smoking in my daughters classroom - IT support said that the mother board is faulty and its trash... Great! Only lasted 19 months! Rubbish!

No quality assurance? Nobody checks before shipping?
Has a key knocked out of place on arrival. Not bad enough to go through the hassle of a return, but noticeable enough to make me question how it even arrived like this. Also, coming pre-installed with the Norton spam bot is not a plus.

Good screen size, light weight.
All good, one minor issue with brightly lit keyboard, but hope to fix this. I am not a touch typist and need to look at the keyboard, the light with the white letters makes it hard to see the letters.

Laptop keeps making a static noise
Static noise (might’ve been fan noise) from left side of keyboard is very disturbing when I’m trying to work in quite. I returned the first laptop I got thinking it was faulty but the second laptop I got, the one I currently have, also has the same issue. Currently I’m not sure if I should return this laptop or bear with it since I’m very busy and this is wasting too much of my time. The noise is there when I read material online but when I play a video or do something that requires more CPU the noise goes away, which is very frustrating. I was expecting more from a laptop within this price range.

Cracking little laptop.
I've changed from a full size keyboard to a Acer notebook. Lovely laptop though early days at the moment. If it's as good as all the other Acer PC's I've had it shouldn't be a problem.
