Has anyone bought the 6 or 10 gallon pail? Looking for the dog poo bucket but don't want it too big as my 10 year old is in charge of emptying

Coincidentally, I ordered both at the same time. The 6 gallon is definitely the way to go for your needs. I really don’t think you want 10 gallons of poo in a can. Plus, if that all your using it for, you can use inexpensive trash can liners or plastic grocery bags.

Material??? One place says "steel" but another spot says "plastic."

These cans are made with galvanized steel. No plastic at all in the construction. Nice and solid. Most importantly for me, rodent proof.

To make my 20 gallon can raccoon proof (I keep bird feed in it) I had to run a small chain from one can handle through the lid handle to the other can handle. I put a removable link in the chain to be able to access the bird food.

The Behrens 10 gal. states it will hold a 50 lb. bag of dog food/bird seed. What gallon capacity of dog food or bird seed will the 6 gal. pail hold?

I have the 10 gal. Only holds about 40 lbs. Fish food.
