Bristol Novelty BA1313 Realistic Gas Mask for Fancy Dress, Unisex-Adult, One Size

Used as prop in performance for my final major project on my masters. It took s long time to come and when it did come, one of the things where the elastic attaches was broken but I didn’t have time to send it back.It looks very plastic even from a distance. But considering it was cheap, and the price of more realistic gas masks, it was okay. It’s more similar to world war 2 has marks though than world war 1.

Well to begin with, when I was putting the fake filter on, I noticed one of the eye holes already starting to come off. Its still on there and doesn't really show any signs of coming off, just a bit loose. Secondly wearing is a problem, it states "Size: One size fits all" when in reality this is not true. I tried to put it on and it slides off my face and its just left hanging around my neck. Even getting the mask is a difficult task. I did mention it sliding off my face so I did cut off the default straps and tried to replace them with an elastic one, I only used electricle tape to put it on but it kept popping off. I feel like it could work but with a really strong glue. Overall, the mask is bad quality and doesn't fit well. I suggest buying an air soft one instead and this product shouldn't be sold for £10.

A decent mask, the straps could do with redesigning as they don't strap around the head well enough, but do work, just. I would say that the mask should retail for £7 rather than £10, but will I argue this, no. It does look very good & convincing.

It’s to big for my child’s head and I can’t adjust it to fit. However, he’s only 6 yrs old. It’s well made and looks good. It arrived promptly, and despite it not fitting he takes it everywhere with him.

Used for a college media recording. Looked perfect with the rest of the uniform. Only problem was it was a bit fiddly to adjust at first but soon got the gang of it.

Well, my son loves it!! Good quality. Seems like it will last a while.

A great item for the money, and it just about sums up the nonsense of it all "I wear my gas mask to protect others!"
