My 21 year old Maytag Neptune dryer stopped heating so I pulled the igniter and replaced it!The install was tough because I'm a 72 year old woman and sitting on the floor with my head inside the drum, my arms inside the bottom of the dryer, one hand holding the igniter, the other holding a wrench, blindly screwing it down was not fun! But I did it!I bought this because it's an exact match to the one I removed from the dryer, having first bought one that had a connector that didn't match.I'd gone to our local appliance repair shop and they had the OEM igniter, but it was $49.99! Vs $19.99? Nuh-uh... Not this old lady! I give this dryer another 15 years!I love fixing things, and I love when I save myself $800! With this Maytag being so old, most people would junk it and buy another. Not me!Perfect item!
